After trying to repair our front door lock and handle myself and only making the problem worse, I checked homestars to find a company who come and fix the problem immediately. After calling around, I found Locksmith Care, who promised to be there within the hour. Time was of the essence as we were all heading out for the day and couldn't very well leave our front door without a lock. Dimitar from Locksmith showed up on time and immediately was able to address the problem. While I was willing to pay almost anything to have the problem fixed right away and was expecting a huge bill, Dimitar did the job for a more than reasonable price and solved not only our faulty handle and lock problem but also addressed an issue we had with a sticky door. Highly recommend.

It was a pleasure working with Konstantin to design and build the new deck and shed for our backyard. Not only did he provide a competitive quote, but he provided us with 3D mockups of what the deck and shed would look like, so we were clear on what we were going to get. As we were looking to integrate a storage shed underneath the deck, Konstantin worked with us to come up with an innovative solution that addressed our desire to keep our tools and bikes dry, without going over our budget. When we had to make changes or alterations to the design - both before and during the building process - Konstantin worked with us to ensure that we were satisfied. Throughout the entire building process, Konstantin kept us informed about what was happening and was always responsive to our concerns. The quality of his workmanship is beyond question and it's obvious that he and his men take pride in their work. I would recommend and have already recommended his company to several of our friends in the neighbourhood.

Very impressed with the thoroughness of this company's work. Not only did the company send me an email reminder days before my scheduled appointment, but they also called the day before to confirm that they would be coming. On the day of the appointment, Adel and his colleague came on time and ready to work. Adel did a great job on our microfibre couch and chairs and took the time to explain what he had done and what I could do to take care of any stains that may appear in the future. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

After three years of neglect, my wife and I decided to landscape our front yard. With a big Norway maple to contend with, we weren't sure what we could do with the space. After considering doing the work ourselves, we called Pape Property Maintenance to come in and see what they could do. Not only did Stephan arrive when he said he would, but he understood what we wanted for the space and then using his expertise delivered and then some. Its amazing what a difference Stephan's work has made to our house. Many of our neighbours have made a point to compliment us on the work that was done. We couldn't be happier with Stephan's work. Not only it was done on time and within budget, but the results are spectacular. We will definitely recommend Pape Maintenance to all our friends and have already called Stephan back to look at doing our fence and some other work around the house.

I never would have thought I'd find the cheapest price in Yorkville of all places. After searching the city for the best price on "Metro" shelving, I finally found it at Neat. Not only was Neat 3x cheaper than some of the other stores I had visited, but they also were very helpful in terms of advising me on what might be the best fit for my space both from a price and space standpoint. On top of that, the store has a lot of great stuff for organizing all those nooks and crannies that are just asking to be sorted out. I love going in from time to time to get ideas for my house.

I can't say enough about what a great job Ciraco did on my wedding photos. Not only were they able to find the perfect frame for my photos, but they also were able to find just the right mat to set the photos off. All of this as well as a great price - at least half as much as some of the more "upscale stores" in the heart of the city. My wife and I will definitely be taking more of our photos here for framing.

After checking a number of the big mattress stores, I decided to follow up on a tip I got off the net about buying mattress from smaller retailers. This lead me to Simply Elegant, which was not only fairly close to me, but also had the best price of all the stores we went to. What really tipped the scales for me was the service provided by Lucy, one of the owners at the store. Lucy was not only patient, but she made sure that I got the mattress I wanted at the best price. Delivery was on time and worked around our schedule. All in all a great experience.

After trying unsuccessfully for months to get another company (cheaper company) to even come and give me an estimate on my eavestrough cleaning, I decided to check the homestars site to see who rated best for this service. Its no surprise why Toronto Clearview and its owner Brian are so well rated. I was a little suspicious of why the ratings were so high, but after dealing with this company its easy to see why. Brian not only returned my call the same day, but also arranged on a Friday no less, to have one of his guys come by the following Monday to do the work. As for the work, what can I say, Brian's guy arrived on time, was polite, explained everything and cleaned up throughly. Wonderful job. Have recommended to other friends and will definitely use them again next year. This is the second time I've used Toronto Clear View. I had previously used them to do my gutters, which I was very happy with. This time they came to do my exterior windows. Due to some bad weather, they weren't able to come when they initially had planned to, but they did come later in the week. The job was done quickly, but upon closer inspection, a skylight and a window here and there were missed. I explained the situation to the owner and he arranged for the work to be done to my satisfaction, with no fuss or problems on his part. Brian made sure I was satisfied with the work. While I was a little disappointed that it took a few attempts for his guys to do the job properly the first time, the fact that they did the work until I was happy with it, insures that I will use them again.

Was looking for a specific buffet from Calligaris and through their website was able to find Virez Interiors as one of their distributors in Toronto. Amongst the other distributors in the Toronto area, Virez Interiors, by far, had the best price (nearly $500 less than Casalife, who I also find to be quite economical.) Better yet, Virez Interiors had the item in stock for viewing, which helped tremendously in making my buying decision. After ordering the item, Virez not only delivered it to our home, but set it up without any problems. Their delivery guys were great! I highly recommend checking out Virez Interiors if you're in the market for stylish and modern furniture.
