Our previous roof, which was only 10 years old, was leaking for the past year. It was installed by a company that had gone our of business (well, it re-invented itself with a different name). We knew we needed a new roof and to have it done right this time. JMT roofing, and its owner John, installed a new roof, complete with a new plywood layer, a much better underlay, shingles, and ridge venting. They also replaced plumbing stacks and replaced flashing around the chimney. They were much more detailed than the other contractor from 10 years ago. We got a good feeling from John, based on his experience and knowledge. His estimate was similar to other quotes but was more comprehensive. The work was done in December 2018 and all has been fine since then, even with the snowy, wet winter we had. The one issue is that our Christmas lights got knocked down and some plastic clips broken. He made that right and handled the issue professionally. We would recommend JMT for any roofing work.
