After doing work to the outside of our house, we needed a complete overhaul of our landscaping but we were not really sure where to begin. Unlike the other landscapers we spoke to, Blair offered reasonable recommendations on how to tackle the project and he could do all of the things we needed. He met with us several times when it was convenient for our schedule and helped us review all our options.He and his crew arrived when they said they would and completed the project within the timeframe. The stone work is fabulous and we are very pleased with the overall look. It was a pleasure working with Blair and his crew and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaper.

Due to their busy schedule, we had to wait for Straight Up Masonry to start the job but it was worth it. They did an excellent job on our basement walkout. Even when we faced a few problems along the way, Tony had the resources to offer solutions and keep the job moving forward. It made the renovation experience very easy.

We needed to remove old asbestos insulation wrapped around one of our hot water pipes in our basement. After thoroughly explaining the process, David and his team did a first-rate job of removal. The basement area was completely sealed and the rest of the house was unaffected. David also did a great job of keeping us up-to-date on everything that was happening at the house so there were no surprises.

We were very pleased with the work and the service. Charlie took care of a number of different projects (faucet replacement in the laundry room, fixing a pocket door and replacing a piece of eavestrough) in one day for a very reasonable price.

Joe was very thorough with his investigation of our roof and finding the points of entry. He even came on a Saturday morning when weather prevented him from getting on the roof earlier. He was very knowledgeable and gave us advice on how to prevent the squirrels from coming back. I would definitely recommend him.

We are very pleased with our new fence and we had a great experience with Best Fence. Mike was the only contractor we contacted who understood our concerns about our front garden being trampled during the process and he took great care around the plants we were unable to move.

I needed to have some old area rugs and furniture removed from my office and Des O'Leary Disposal was fantastic. They were quick and efficient and very reasonably priced. And extremely pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend them.

Even though we had to wait six weeks for them to come because they are so busy, I cannot recommend Darby and his team highly enough. They were excellent. We could not believe how tidy they were and how quickly they were finished. And they were highly respectful of our neighbour's property when they had to dig on the north side. After they finished, our water problems in the basement disappeared.

Unlike other designers, Deanna asked us questions about how we wanted to use the space and then designed to suit our needs. She is also practical with her design - one of her first questions was the location of the plumbing stack. She recommended not doing an addition and opening up our kitchen instead. She was right - an addition would not have given us the space we wanted and having the kitchen renovated has really opened up the living space. And she was happy to offer help with our colour and material choices when asked but did not try to take over or make it her own. We had specific requests before we started (blonde wood cabinets, a farm sink) and she figured out how to make it come together with a perfect choice for a counter. It was a great experience and we will definitely work with her again.

The herringbone pattern on the kitchen and sunroom floor is perfect. The workmanship is outstanding. Very friendly and lovely to work with. They even came on Saturday to do the grout so the rest of the renovation could move forward on Monday.
