Starting the search for a renovations company can be extremely daunting and overwhelming. Naturally, I dove in to Google as a starting point and found Gala. I emailed Gala and Scott Thomas, the owner, responded professionally and promptly. From there, we set-up some time for him to stop by. I had an idea of what we wanted to accomplish renovations wise: a complete overhaul of the kitchen (including a structural wall), master bathroom and nursery, in addition to 2 custom closets and new entryway flooring, but we had no idea what that would cost/entail. Scott really helped us understand the process, while providing his wealth of knowledge for supplier resources (I wanted to quarterback the design aspect of the project) and being personable. From day one, we fully trusted him to keep us on the right track (considering our wishes and budget). Scott managed everything from the reno dumpster to the building permit and coordinating all of the moving parts for plumbing, structural engineering, electricity, crown moulding experts, flooring professionals, etc. It was a seamless experience and if there was ever a concern, Scott was our advocate and made sure we were happy with every service. I recommend Gala to everyone for all of the reasons above AND when COVID hit, he and his team took all necessary precautions to stay safe. Definitely reach out to Gala if you want the crème de la crème!

Jose and his team were referred to us when we learned that we would need to update all things electrical for insurance (incl. rewire to ESA standards, install light fixtures (pot lights into plaster ceiling & chandeliers) and new plugs) in our newly purchased home. From the beginning, the team was extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, flexible, reliable, responsive, careful/meticulous (conservative with wall holes) and a true joy to work with! They went above and beyond in so many ways and worked tirelessly to ensure deadlines were met. I was slightly sad when the job was done, because I had looked forward to their presence! I suppose I’ll have to find a new project now :)

From the moment I reached out to Firemen Movers to the moment the move was finished, I would have to say the process was smooth, informed, professional, timely and surprisingly fun! Kailen, Joe, and Ryan H. arrived at the time they said they would and after scoping out everything that would need to be moved, they got to work! They were very methodical and careful with everything. They came prepared with blankets and wrapping, ensuring that they wrapped all furniture that could be easily damaged. I loved that they provided the wardrobe boxes for an easy transfer of my closet, it was definitely an appreciated touch. I must say that I was most impressed by their preparedness, care, and creativity... When we moved in, the couch had to be hoisted over the 2nd floor balcony, because our stacked townhouse had a narrow clearance/doorway/stairwell. These extremely talented fellows cam prepared with the right tools, took the door off and were able to remove it via the door with no damage to the couch. I was immensely impressed. I highly recommend Firemen Movers and would definitely use them again! Thanks guys!!!
