We purchased a bed set online on November 9, 2011 with an estimated delivery date of November 23rd. Once the 23rd had come and gone and we hadn't received a phone call we decided to call them. They said they wouldn't do anything until it had been at least 6 business days late. So after 6 business days I once again called them after not receiving a phone call to schedule a delivery time. Customer service said that it was over due and they were going to put a trace on our order but that would take 2-5 business days. We are currently on business day #4 and have yet to receive a phone call from anyone from IKEA. I'm absolutely disgusted with having to pay $300.00 in shipping for it only to be late. They will be receiving a phone call tomorrow at days end (which will be 5 business days) when they STILL won't have returned my call and be given 3 options: 1. Have my delivery on my step by Wednesday at days end 2. Reimburse my VISA the FULL purchase, including shipping and they can keep their cheap products. 3. I will be seeking a chargeback from my VISA provider which I read is not a pleasant process for the merchant. I would NEVER recommend IKEA to ANYONE and am absolutely apparlled at the poor service when you are paying such an extreme price for it.
