Our Electrolux induction range suddenly stopped working and indicated an E15 error code. I called Peter who was busy but took the time to talk to me. He asked me to forward the brand, model and issue with our stove. Later that evening, Peter suggested a quick fix. In the past, this tip would had resolved the problem. However as Peter noted the next morning, it is a known issue with Electrolux/ Frigidaire. The E15 error code is just a general message indicating a communication problem with one of the numerous boards and/or connectors. He took time out of his schedule to give a professional & HONEST advice without the standard diagnosis fee whereas others would happily charge. Kudos to you Peter!

Having dealt with Open Sesame numerous years ago when I was on the Board of Directors of a small condominium building; I sought his services again. Was I ever glad I did. I called him in the afternoon and he scheduled me immediately after his current project. Shortly afterwards, my garage door opener was working flawlessly again. After booking several appointments with a fireplace contractor in Toronto, we decided to try GasFix Repair instead. The initial fireplace contractor didn't even show up at the scheduled times. Not one courtesy call nor apology. He would call whenever and ask if I was available at times convenient for him. After calling GasFix Repair, an appointment was scheduled in two days. Scott called that morning to confirm our appointment and arrived shortly afterwards. I explained what the problems were with our fireplace and he proceeded to conduct a few tests. Within 15 minutes, he told me what the options and its costs were. The decision was made easier when he explained the repairs could be done immediately without incurring another service call. Even though our fireplace was over 15 years old, he had the replacement parts in his service vehicle. I was very impressed with the Scott's professionalism. He would show me the differences with the various faulty components versus the replacement parts. His extensive knowledge and experience easily answer any questions and concerns I had. Thanks to Scott and GasFix Repair, we now can enjoy our fireplace for years to come.

After reading several reviews on HomeStars, it was a no-brain decision to call Mayday. I called early in the morning and spoke to Roy just as he was leaving to go to his first job of the day. I thought I may had to wait until the next day but he scheduled me in after the next job. Upon arrival Roy asked me a couple of short questions regarding the problem before proceeding with the job at hand. After several attempts diagnosing the blockage problems with the traps in the basement, it wasn't looking very good.However, Roy remember seeing possibly another trap outside the house. It was fairly cold outside yet Roy proceeded with his diagnosis and was correct with his assumption. He then quickly found the problem and easily fixed it. His vast knowledge and professionalism made our ordeal actually an enjoyable experience. He even provided advice whereas we can maintain our drainage in the future. Mayday's service is definitely worth every cent. Bravo Roy!
