My house is one and one-half story, 160 years old with a massive steel roof. It was discovered that there are two layers of steel roofing on top of the original wooden roof. A new next door neighbour requested that I install snow guards on the roof, so I contacted AM Roofing. I had some concerns about the depth between the roof and additional two steel roofs, and so the Owen Sound manager came to look at the situation. He definitely recommended that I NOT install the snow guards on this particular roof because they could pull out and leave rows of holes in the roof. I really appreciate the absolutely honesty of this company in its assessment of the situation, and would recommend AM Roofing to my friends and neighbours.
