This is the second job I've hired Thomas to do for me. Our front stairs were collapsing, and in need of replacement. Thomas gave a competitive quote; but it wasn't his price, but his quality of work on the previous job (gate door) that had me select him for the job. As with any outdoor job, the start date is always contingent on weather. With such a wet spring, Thomas was always mindful to keep me appraised, with plenty of advanced notice, of any changes to the start date. He and his assistant Tommy did a splendid job -- the job site was kept tidy, and even with a family emergency to attend to, the job was completed exactly on time. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend Thomas to anyone looking for the highest quality work at a very fair price.

We moved into our renovated home a couple of years ago and have always found our Frigidaire dishwasher to be loud. It had been getting worse lately, and we decided something had to be done. Peter was quick to reply to my email inquiry, did a diagnosis over the phone and gave his estimate. When he arrived to inspect the dishwasher he very politely changed into indoor shoes without being asked, and had protective mats for both the floor and the counter where he put some of his tools. It turns out that the dishwasher wasn't entirely properly installed, which Peter fixed, and he was able to diagnose and solve the noise problem with a bit of creative thinking, and without any replacement parts necessary. He was able to walk us through some helpful maintenance we could undertake ourselves to help extend the life of the dishwasher, and gave the machine a good once over to make sure the seals were all in good order. A couple of $15 replacement seals later (it was clear, even to me, that the old seals were falling apart), the dishwasher is operating better than it ever had before. And we have piece of mind that the machine was going to keep working well for the foreseeable future. He even gave us tips on maintenance for our fridge while he was here. I can't recommend Peter enough. Friendly, thoughtful, and budget conscious.

We had Consumers Choice replace the century old front door, painted-shut front window, and wonky upstairs front window of our home. The salesperson was helpful and answered all my questions, and guided me towards the best value for my budget. The installer was friendly, on time, and obviously dedicated to doing an excellent job. I have already recommended the company to my neighbours, and would have no trouble doing so again.

We moved to Toronto last fall and though our house is wonderful, it was missing a gate door to the back yard. We had a baby gate in place to keep our two small dogs in the yard, but it would fall from time to time, resulting in escaping pugs. Thomas took care of that. Our new gate was affordable, and installed quickly but with care. Thomas was communicative and attentive throughout the process of site visit, quote, and installation. He even took care of a couple of other small jobs we had during his visit for a very reasonable rate. We have him quoting on a new project already.
