He braved chilly weather to clean all my first floor and second floor windows (and even did the basement and outdoor shed windows, which I didn't expect) and he did a terrific job. Willy, the owner provided attentive, hands-on service. Despite being super busy with pool requests/orders as Covid-19 restrictions lifted, Willy was responsive in coming to inspect our 9-year old pool, ordering the liner and installing it promptly. The quality of work and attention to detail were top notch!
Just took delivery of a Handstone dining room table and sideboard from The Bedroom Shop. Their new location on Yonge St. in Newmarket is spacious and there is a great selection of furniture. Pricing was very competitive and customer service was excellent. To round out the positive experience, the delivery process was completed today and it was flawless - very professional, on time, and very respectful delivery guys.

In the summer of 2013, after doing extensive research my husband and I decided to hire them for a few reasons (reputation, price, workmanship). They have been in business for over 10 years with the same phone number so we knew they weren't about to disappear after cashing our cheque! The owner was very nice and made it clear there was no nonsense and no 'cash deals' when dealing with them, which we liked. They also refused to cut corners and when we asked if it would cost less to just put down a new layer of shingles over the old (as other roofers had suggested we do because it was the first time the roof was being re-shingled), they refused to do it and gave very good reasons as to why it shouldn't be done. It also meant they were going to stand behind their warranty after completing the job if they were going to do it right! we were happy with their advice and signed the contract. They showed up on time, completed the job to our satisfaction and left the outside of the house neat and tidy, just as they found it upon their arrival. We have a pool in the backyard and they took great lengths to ensure that the entire property was properly protected while the work was done. Overall a very pleasant experience and we have referred them to friends. We called them last week (March 2014) to inquire about ice build-up on the roof as the winter of 2013 has been incredible and we wanted to know whether we should be concerned. They came up the next day to look at the roof and assured us that the shingles we chose were made to stand up to this type of weather. it was very reassuring to know that they came right away and went to show that this is one outfit that you know will stand behind their work! Kayak provided very poor after sale service. Pool was not the right depth (despite paying an upgrade fee), equipment was missing and/or the wrong type and we played '20 questions' with them throughout the installation and afterward just to get basic information about opening, heating, cleaning and closing the pool. The only time they displayed a sense of urgency was when it came to getting their installment payments! We also ended up doing some of the work ourselves (e.g. moving the panel which they put in the wrong place). For first time pool owners, the entire process was very frustrating.
