I had booked an inner city move for this summer with 2 small men. When they arrived I directed the worker that I only wanted the furnishings moved and that I was going to do the remainder myself. Obviously they didn't listen and decided to take much more, eating up more time and resulting in a higher bill than anticipated. The owner, Raymond, consistently made disgusting and sexist jokes, and did not assist with the majority of the move other than driving. Raymond also thought it was appropriate to brag about abusing a cat to my wife. Raymond also informed me that his one employee had a criminal record and was a "con artist". One of the employees is a new Canadian from India and Raymond was mocking his culture directly to his face the entire time and the young man just took it. The employees left cigarette butts on my property and Raymond has so far not reimbursed me for damages that resulted during the move, totaling $165. The move cost just under $1,000 and I tipped all 3 $60 each. The movers are paid minimum wage as they informed me so I felt obligated to give them a tip. After I handed the two young men their tips, Raymond raised his voice in outrage that I was not going to give him a tip. I then gave him a tip to avoid an argument. Do not hire this company.
- Approximate cost of services:

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Raymond has sent you a cheque for the $165.00 that you needed to repair the damage on the washing machine and that the cheque was indeed cashed. Again, I appologize for the way you say you were treated.
BarbI will be looking into this right away, nothing like this should ever happen. Could you please email me so we can discuss this more.
