Existing drive way removed next to a 2 years old one - done by same company. Sean was inevitable but levels around seam are OK in some areas and in others, not even attempted. Grading and seam I can live with, but one thing that was asked for - that driveway be straight - Was not done. Discussed with owner (At signing) and foreman on site (twice). I didn’t haggle or negotiate - I just asked for it to be straight. Owner was polite about it - No complaints there - but at the end, I have a sorry and a driveway I am not happy with. Next year I have to pay for mine and neighbours to be removed and redone.

Matt Dittman (Angus Ontario) responded to a Kijiji post for some interlock work. Gave a quote for the job and asked for a deposit to secure a date for the job. Since the original date came and went, he has provided a number of other dates and excuses for missing them. Since the job cancellation he has danced around returning the deposit. Since then, I have been in contact with 5 other people all whom have had the same experience regarding their work. Excuses vary from 5h traffic, office won't send refund, e-transfer not going thru, cheque sent in the mail (multiple times), mother dying, mother died, mother on palliative care, rugby injury, supply yard flooded and so on. He is more than aware that a court settlement does not ensure anyone will see any money or in any way affect him much. He is well coached and well informed on how to deal with angry customers. Based on my own experience and that of others - he fabricates new stories daily and is likely a pathological "artist". I would avoid doing business with him and anyone else associated to his business. Read all the reviews and get in contact with any body of authority out there. He has done this to multiple people and is likely still doing it. He does not have a 5 star review anywhere and to date cannot provide a single job reference that he actually did. Avoid at all costs.
