DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY We booked them through Livingsocial to come and clean a 1400 sq ft bungalow. From the moment we booked I felt there was a problem as they advised the three hours cleaning would be two people for 1 & 1/2 hours and that someone would call us back to confirm the booking time. When no one called me back, I called again a week later and was told that the cleaning date was confirmed. This was almost two months ago and the house cleaning was a gift as we are getting married the day following the cleaning date that was booked. Yesterday, only one week before the wedding, they called to tell us they would not honour the coupon as they no longer had someone working in this area (Bowmanville/ Newcastle). I have the feeling there never was anyone in this area and it only suited them if they had no other bookings. Best advice I give people is Stay Away from Desperate Housemaids.
