The Skylights Unlimited was the 7th contractor I contacted for this new install, and they were the only ones who came up with a quote in writing, while the other contractors seemed too busy in the month of June 2019 to do it. I chose to finish the mudding myself, because the inside ceiling wall was plaster and lathe, but the lead hand minimized all the mudding of drywall work for me when he opened the interior ceiling on the first day. I really appreciated his efforts. Skylights Unlimited completed the job with 5 guys over two working days, with excellent cleanup, and the results look very good. During their busy summer of 2019, it took about a month from my payment of deposit through the bad weather days to have the guys come over, but the wait was worth it.

-Definitely I would ask these guys back again for another project like the garage floor another time. -New poured concrete walkways project was done during 5-6 days, with the first few days for demolition and removal, and framing set-up. -I myself was working with them everyday to help them with labor, removal of some doors, supervision of framing shapes, and with tools -The guys also helped me as a little extra to repair parts of my foundation wall that had chipped off during the demo process. -The parging guy had some confusion over the scope of the work, but he came twice to finish with a Durock mix product with fibres to help stick to walls that turned out nicely. -The concrete pour day had Mike, Steve, and a 3rd experienced concrete finisher put a fish scale brush finish over the concrete poured over the prepared 4" gravel, rebar, expansion fibre, and framing. Steve came back a few days later to quick-cut some control joints into the walkway.
