I was very disappointed with my kitchen counter top install. The installer wanted all the money up front, which I thought was strange, but with a large company like Dufferin Tile thought it would be okay. Before the install, my husband and I went to pick the counter top the salesman assured us that we would not be receiving the granite that had a crack in it. Unfortunately, the day of the install I was not home, only my 80yr old mother. When I returned home to inspect the counter top, to my amazement there was a crack in it and the counter top was too small compared to the original. I've learned two lessons from this ordeal, one, do not pay in full until you are satisfied with the job, and two, make sure you are home during the install. Unfortunately, I have no recourse with Dufferin Tile as this was a cash & verbal deal.
Today, was the first day I heard about this site, and right away Dufferin Tile came to mind. I'm currently having my master bedroom ensuite renovated and I'm taking the lessons learned above.
