This is a long overdue review, keep in mind this is written exactly 1 month since Mark repaired the cracks in my basement. No water at all after all those heavy rainstorms we've had, including one just now (Aug 26th/2013). Every time there was a moderate to heavy rainstorm, we would get water leaking into our basement from two different points. Long Story: We received a few quotes from different companies where they were asking between 4-5K for the entire job. Not only that, we had our deck in front of one of the cracks and if they wanted to fix from outside, part of the deck and interlock stones would have to be removed and put back at our own cost. If they did the repair from the inside, the basement floor would have to be broken up and re-cemented (a very messy job). Frustrated and thinking we had no choice but to go with one of those pricey companies, I luckily came across AquaDry Technologies and Mark. And let me tell, he was 100 head and shoulders above the rest. He has a no pressure sales approach, he explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, even brought a sample of the polyurethane (it's a pretty tough material) that he'll inject to repair the crack and best of all, no ripping up the deck or patio or basement. When he came to do the job, he did a test to show us where the water was actually coming from (we weren't sure for one of the cracks). His job is very neat and clean and we have had no water leaking in our basement at all. We are extremely happy with his work. He has a 25 yr transferrable warranty and he will come back to fix any leaks at his own cost. He is the only one we will recommend to all our friends and family and to anyone who asks. Before you go with those pricey companies and messy jobs, give AquaDry and Mark a call. Your deck, patio, basement and wallet will thank you.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $800.00
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Call AquaDry, A polyurethane injection crack repair is just as effective and better in my opinion since it's way less invasive than all the digging and breaking up of your deck, patio, and basement, etc.
