The Fire Guy

Called Paul The Fire Guy in for re renovation inspection on a 4 unit res building to be converted to 3 unit.
Paul responded fast to my requirements and came out for inspection within 2 days and provided written report 3 days after.
His Report has saved the client from making wrong decisions on a number of Fire code regulation for the renovations
which where not addressed by Architect or Engineer on the project costing well over $10K.
The Reno Coach highly recommends The Fire Guy and will use in future projects.

I bought a home in October 2007 and asked The Fire Guy to assess it prior to the Fire Marshall's visit. The level of attention and detail to the house vis `a vie the fire code has given me peace of mind in regards to keeping my house safe and up to the fire code standards. We were in the midst of a purchase of a house with a basement apartment. Paul was called in to advise us of how safe the apartment was and what had to be done to make it "retrofit"
He took us through the house explaining the issues to us in a manner we could understand. All this was put into a very detailed written report that our contractor was easily able to follow.
The work is now done and we are very pleased.

I have purchased two rental properties and used the Fire Guy to determine what repairs/changes were needed to make the properties comply with fire code. He came and did a site review, and gave recommendations on-site and then afterwards presented a written report which included all the recommendations. He was on time, and professional each time. I feel very comfortable in that using his service AND following the recommendations, I have effectively limited my liability in case of a fire at these properties.

The Fire Guy was hired by me to provide a Fire Code clearance for my mortgage application. He worked through the concerned areas with me. His written report was complete and provided all the options open to me. He has a vast knowledge of his profession.
The contractor I hired to do the required improvements was able to follow the instructions and when the work was complete Paul returned and issued the required clearance. I would feel confident referring him to friends and associates.
