Nello came aboard to repair an improperly installed shower enclosure.

Work included removal of glass enclosure, tearing out existing tiles, and fixing the shower threshold, and then replacing the shower floor.

As it was a master bath, the work was done while we were out, there was minimal mess and the work was very good. We are very happy with the results. Nello is now working on a larger project for us.

We spent quite some time trying to find the perfect contractor for our kitchen and 2pc bath renovation. We knew we hit the jackpot when Mike showed up for his very first visit only to quote the job and already started fixing things on the fly (like our running toilet). We knew this was someone we could trust. Mike and Nello did a fantastic job. We always felt like we were in good hands and they were looking out for our best interests along the way. We loved getting their feedback and always trusted their opinion. We can't say enough good things about our experience with Maralon! They were always on time, kept the area clean and tidy and finished things when they said they would. We are very happy with the work they did to give us our new kitchen!

We would recommend Mike and his team to anyone and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Our only regret on this project was not getting the Maralon team to install our cabinetry too. I'm a perfectionist and I appreciated their commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

We had a horrendous contractor experience when we renovated our main floor several years ago so this time I did my homework when choosing a contractor to redo our basement.

We invited 3 companies to quote, all of whom had excellent reputations, but we chose Maralon because Mike gave us the best first impression and spoke the most knowlegably about a floor drain issue that was a huge thorn in our side.

These guys started when they said they would, showed up every day and on time, finished when they said they would, AND gave me a HUGE allowances budget in the original quote which meant that the job completed about 15% under budget. Everyone at Maralon also listens and communicates really well and they're very responsive to your phone calls and emails. Mike has been back to my house twice (no charge) to fix an issue that was due to our negligence, not Maralon's workmanship.

I will use these guys again when I redo my main floor bath in a year or two and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know who's planning a home renovation project.

I was desperately seeking a contractor for some small but essential jobs around the house. I needed someone immediately. Nello promptly returned my call and sent Colin the next day! They showed a lot of consideration by fitting me into their schedule. As for the job, Colin was extremely hard-working and professional. He did a fantastic job and completed all the tasks in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The Maralon construction crew arrived in a timely manner and were clean and concise. Their attention to detail is appreciated greatly every day. We have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

On June of 2009, Mike and his team completed a renovation of our kitchen and bathroom. Both were approximately 20 years old and had the original fixtures in place. The work included a new kitchen, and knocking out a bathroom wall, to make one large bathroom, complete with a custom walk in tiled frameless shower.

We found Mike and his team to be extremely professional. From our initial meeting, a detailed plan of action was created; and the Maralon Construction and Design team not only began the work as scheduled, but were always on time, organized; and were very efficient each day on site. They were dedicated to our project the entire time. We felt comfortable enough to give them our keys so they could enter the premises while we were at work. Mike communicated on the phone each day to give us updates, or we would meet as needed to go over the on-going project details.

We found Maralon to also be very helpful in making suggestions on materials, colours and small details that only an experienced trade would know. We were extremely impressed with the level of dedication which the Maralon team gave to our project, they really know what good customer service and quality workmanship means!

The project stayed on budget, and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Anyone who has visited our home says it looks like a photograph in a designer’s magazine. We not only got more than we expected, but have the assurance that this work was completed in a very knowledgeable and professional manner.

We would very highly recommend Maralon Construction and Design to anyone, and we plan to use them in future projects.

Nello and Mike have done it again. After doing our main bath, they were contracted to gut and rebuild our ensuite bathroom and did a beautiful, efficient, and fairly priced job. The job was done, on-time, on-budget and with the care, expertise and craftsmanship that we have become accustomed to with Maralon Construction and Design. We can wait to plan our next project with Nello and Mike.

This project was a real challenge, with extensive damage on three levels of our home due to some nasty flooding. Maralon Construction expertly and efficiently repaired it all, clearing up some preexisting violations in the process. For this we are very grateful. They are competent, honest and responsive, and truly know their stuff.

Maralon was recommended to me through a friend who had them do their kitchen and they did a fabulous job. I had been dealing with another company for a few months prior to calling Maralon and felt like I had wasted so much time that I was starting to lose the excitement of finally getting a new kitchen. When Mike and Joanna came to the house to see the kitchen and take measurements, I had a renewed sense of excitement. Joanna designed our new kitchen taking into account we have a small child who did homework in the kitchen while we prepared dinner creating a desk area especially for him with a drawer and cupboards for his work stuff. She created a superbly functional kitchen with a lot more cupboard and counter space than I ever had. They were extremely patient and made very good recommendations that I wouldn’t have thought of. I trusted their judgement in all aspects of the renovation and with picking the paint colour for the kitchen. Needless to say I was very pleased with their choice. Mike, Nello and Andrew did an exceptional job and I have to mention that Mike is very meticulous about his caulking. I had the privilege of being there a couple of days when they were working and they worked well together and are very team oriented - not to mention a funny group of guys.

We love our new home! Maralon gutted the house entirely and re-constructed it into a beautiful abode! From day one Mike was a fantastic project manager and worked with us to make sure that we were happy. We didn't have to worry about communication as Mike was always there when we needed him and wanted to ensure that he understood our needs. Both Mike and Nello took pride in their work and you can tell! From the three beautiful custom fireplace mantels and trimwork throughout the house to the sound plumbing and electrical (it was a mess!), we are nothing but ecstatic about the work these professionals completed. Joanna also did a fantastic job with the design of our kitchen. We find the space to be a lot more functional, and beautiful of course!

I was very skeptical when I was searching out a contractor and didn't know if my vision would come to life. I am so happy that we worked with Maralon as I couldn't have asked for anything better.
