Darren, who we met with to get a quote, was very professional, knowledgeable, and informative. He put our minds right at ease that our roof would be in good hands. Beautiful job, great attention to detail. Work was done quickly, efficiently and on time (as much as April weather permits); work team was professional, courteous and willing to answer all my questions as well as provide photos of every step in the process. They also did an excellent job in keeping the workplace clean and leaving not a trace of mess. High quality materials were specified in the invoice details and now, not only do I have the most beautiful roof on the block, but I have confidence it will last! Pleasure to deal with this company.

I had a leak in my roof during the big snow storm of Jan 2021 and ice had built up on the roof such that water was leaking in at a pretty quick pace. I called Jason at Canadian Roofing and he was a true delight to talk to - friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and ready to help me out right away. He was able to walk me through the process and even tell me the likely cost within minutes. Then, within a couple of hours his crew was on my roof doing the work - and this is in the midst of one of the worst snow dumps Toronto has seen in my life.

I couldn't imagine worse conditions for them to be working in but they never complained. They came and got the job done and they even took the time to walk me through everything in detail w/ pictures and video so I knew exactly what had happened. In fact, they even pointed out a way I should change my downspouts in the future and recommended a process for working w/ the city to make it happen.

I was also super impressed that they went out of their way to recommend I get a few quotes in the spring to replace the roof (which is what I'll ultimately need to do). They never tried to upsell me or convince me to use them for the next bigger job I'll need to do.

Owner Jason, his crews, and sub-trades removed our 3rd story sundeck, replaced 2 sloped roofs, 1 flat roof, and eavestroughs on our 3 story 1882 row house. The work was challenging as access was up and over the house. The crews worked efficiently, effectively, and skillfully. They were all friendly and courteous. Jason explained the work clearly to me in advance and prepared a detailed estimate of the work, never taking down to me as a woman. The latter was a far cry from the two other roofing companies that came to do estimates.

This fall, Darren and his team replaced our sloped roof, flat roof, and skylights.
Darren provided a detailed description regarding every aspect of the job and he was always available and responsive. His team worked diligently to complete the job on time and with great care.

Great job and very professional. Our skylight needed to be custom made and they made it super simple. Lovely to work with and I would use them again for different projects.

Darren and his team did a great job replacing all of our eavestroughs - some very old. He explained everything thoroughly to make sure we understand the scope of the project and came up with some great solution. His team was great! My wife and I own an old Victorian semi-detached home in Cabbagetown, downtown Toronto, with a flat roof on top that hasn't had any work done to it for over 35 years. Lately, Toronto has become a soggy rainforest, and with the incredible amounts of rain we've been getting our old roof finally failed this Spring 2021, with water dripping down onto our bed! That was sad. I duct taped a bucket to the ceiling, poured cat litter all over the roof, and got to searching for a reputable company to fix the roof. My wife wasted no time, called her contractor friend who does all kinds of inspiring things for HGTV, (we both work in TV) and her guy referred us to his guy, a guy named Darren. What a dude. (Darren is cool, but let's just keep this to the roof). Being a good hubby, I compared Darren and his family run business to 3 other roofing companies, learned a lot, got quotes, but went with the obvious choice: Darren, his roof boss Jason, and the Canadian Roofing Company was by far the obvious team for the work that was required. This company is NOT the type of roofing company willing to slap a bandaid over some roofy gangrene and call it a day. ( I found one of those but decided to do things right, and I don't regret it). As Darren and his dogged crew determined quickly, we had some major sag related to some structural issues, all which they invited me up top to eyeball for myself. Confident in the diagnoses, I green-lit new lumber for some new framing for a new slope on a new roof - and you should see the water cascading off of her now! This new roof, I mean, what a beauty! Darren and his crew exude knowledge and experience, competence and focus, and they built us a new flat roof with all the fixings so pretty and tough, I'm tempted to spend my evenings up there singing songs to it. So far the pounding rain hasn't stood a chance, and I look forward to Winter giving it her best shot too. A long warranty has me feeling like Darren and the boys aren't too worried about my roof anymore! Thanks again gents for a solid, state of the art, rain stopping beast.

This is the 3rd roof we have done with Jason in the last 20 years as we moved unexpectedly. We recently had interior damage (ceiling collapse) from the storms in July as a result of the wind lifting shingles off our roof. Jason assisted us in every single step of the process and was so accessible throughout for questions (texted him on a Sunday night when we came home to damage and he called me immediately). Jason and his crew are dependable, incredibly hardworking (worked in the heat wave of last week and 40 degree temps), so considerate of the homeowner throughout the job and extremely clean. They thoroughly cleaned up the perimeter of our house every day from any roof debris. I could not recommend them more highly and would not use any other roofing company !
