I booked an appointment online and received an immediate confirmation. On the day of my appointment, I got a call to let me know that they were on their way and an approximate time. They arrived promptly when they said they would. We did a quick walk through of all my junk, and they gave me an estimate. We agreed on the price and they set to work, within a half hour they all done and swept up! Awesome job. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!

Tim and Chester did a great job removing a whole bunch of junk that we had accumulated in our garage. They kept me informed about their arrival time, were very professional, and cleaned up all of the debris down to pulling out a broom and sweeping up. Thanks for a great job!

Over the last 2+ years I accumulated junk from removing wood fences, gazebo, home renovations, etc. This all collected in the backyard. I googled the internet to find a reliable company to remove this junk and found Rid-Of-It. I was impressed by their web site and contacted the company by e-mail. My e-mails were promptly answered by Jessica. As a result, I called Jessica last Thursday and booked an appointment which I got for the very next day!!
Garrison and Chester arrived on site on time. Both were very polite, assessed the job and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job on hand. Then they went to work and in no time the wood pile had disappeared. I have to give Garrison and Chester high marks for how they loaded the truck, using all the space efficiently. I did not believe they could fit all this junk on their truck in one load - but they did!!
Garrison and Chester completed this job professionally and efficiently and I thank them again!! I will contact this company again for any future removal jobs and I highly recommend Rid-Of-It. Thank you all - this was a very nice experience!!

Contacted Rid Of It on a Sunday afternoon and made an apt for the following day. They called before they arrived to give me an update on their timing. Once they arrived Garrison and Derek were very polite, worked quickly and were more than fair on the price. Very happy with the service.

Garrison and Derek outlined the cost of the work. They explained how the pricing works -- the amount in the truck with the extra costs for the weight. They removed my garbage quickly and cleaned up after. It was a hassle free transaction.

To start, the services were great. They showed up on time and finished everything in about 20 minutes. They also cleaned up all the dust and dirt left underneath the rubbish on the driveway.

When I spoke to other company's they said it would cost about $250 and when I spoked to Rid-of-it on the phone they also said about $250 after I thoroughly described what material I had to dispose of, the size of it as well as how heavy it was.

I am disappointed with what they charged me. They charged me for 1/4 truck which was fair for $189 but what surprised me was the additional $159 for 1/8 bed load. This is the charge because it is heavy.

As stated on their website: " How do you charge?
We charge based on volume per truckload. However, if the material is extremely heavy a surcharge is applied based on weight."

Now I do not believe the wood was extremely heavy as I have been lugging it around all day and tearing it out of the ground myself.

Also the average price to dump 1 Metric Ton of waste in Toronto is about $75. I did not have a ton. So I am not quite sure how they charged me an extra $159 on top of the $189.

So all in all I had an Great services from the worker but very disappointed in the cost. I won't be using this company again.
