I've had bad experiences with movers in the past -hidden charges, changing their story, or even just not showing up- but would definitely recommend these guys. They accommodated my pick up on very short notice with no hassle. They gave me a good rate and they were very punctual. Very easy to deal with, very up front and professional.

We had a driveway full of junk which Lucas and Brandon loaded quickly and trucked away.

They were fast, efficient, courteous and friendly.

We booked a second appointment because unfortunately there's more where that first load originated.

We called 1-800-Rid-of-It to help clear out our basement, which had 30+ years of clutter — furniture, old toys, exercise equipment, books, household items and clothes. We'd never used a junk removal service before but we really needed help — we'd sold and given away a few items but there was far too much left to dispose of on our own.

Fortunately, 1-800-Rid-of-It was able to come on a couple of days' notice. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day. Tim and Derek were extremely patient and polite, and followed our instructions carefully in terms of which items to remove. They cleared out two rooms in about an hour. It wasn't easy work: they had to take apart furniture, some items were bulky and heavy, and the rooms were dusty, but they did the job quickly and efficiently. We didn't have to lift a finger. The basement was almost instantly transformed, and it was such a relief when all the junk had been cleared.

I'd been unsure of how to dispose of certain items, but I was pleased to hear the company donates and recycles whatever it can salvage. 1-800-Rid-of-It took what seemed like a monumental task and made it seem easy! I felt We plan to use them again.

Service was excellent. Jamie & Derek arrived within 15 minutes of the opening time frame for the service elevator. Both guys real polite and very efficient. Will be calling this coming business day for at least one more booking. I will request them. I feel that i can trust this service which is important when working on a time frame'

I had removed 2 layers of shingles off of my garage that were 30 years old. They were mostly disintegrated when I was taking them off. I had a huge pile of them in my backyard and didn't feel like renting a garbage bin and hauling them to the front of the house. I had contacted 3 companies to quote my job. The other two companies didn't want to do the job and quoted extremely high. Tyler and Jason from 1-800-rid-of-it came by right away. They provided a reasonable quote and removed all of the shingles that day. They did a great clean up job and were very pleasant to deal with.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from these guys. I am renovating my condo and needed to get rid of some old ceramic tiles and old laminate flooring. I spoke with Rick and he was very quick at providing an estimate. I found the price to be fair.
He quickly put me in contact with Derek who was driving the truck.
Derek said that he could do a pick up this afternoon which worked out perfectly for me. He also said that if I did some of the lifting he would provide me with a break on the price due to the fact that they will be in and out.
Derek and Tyler were very efficient and professional. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Not too shabby. I would definitely use their service again! Thanks guys.

Tyler and his co-pilot did a quick job of an old sectional, mattress, and stuff in storage. They arrived and were gone in 30 minutes. And they were tidy and nice. No question, I recommend them.

We are currently renovating our deceased mother's condo. She had a tremendous amount of items.

Lucas and Damian were incredibly professional and removed all of the clutter in a matter of only a few hours.

We could not be more pleased with their incredible efforts on our behalf.

Clearing out house of years of collectible items. Rid of It were curtious, quick and thorough. Hauled heavy items out of basement and a ton of green garbage bags. Cleared out garage and garden shed. Worth every cent I paid. I would hire them again, and recommend them to anyone needing this type of service.
