I called Jeffery to help with securing a downspout that came loose. He not only gave me a very reasonable quote, but also came out on a Sunday morning to fix this. He took the time to analyze why the issue happened and was creative with securing the downspout. He also came back again to affix a loose gutter. I will be calling Jeffery again for any other work that needs to be done around the house.

I had a locksmith replace the entire lock/knob fixture on the rear door of my house. The door is rarely used. All seemed fine for a few months until one morning when I got up and discovered the door was wide open! I was unable to keep the door closed after that. I couldn't figure out what was wrong and thought maybe something in the door frame had shifted slightly or warped. It was the dead of winter then and I did not want to experiment so I jury rigged the door to stay closed and did not use it anymore. And forgot about it. Today I decided to call HomeStars. Soon after, Jeff called. I told him the whole story and he showed up when he said he would. Took a while to analyze the situation. Jeff found that the locksmith had installed the face plate on the side of the door on the outside of the wood instead of first chiseling out some wood so the plate would lay flush with the surface. Problem solved & door works perfectly now. I definitely will be having Jeff back again to take care of another of the previous owner's DYI failures.

We called this company on the morning of Christmas Eve after the storm caused a leak in our roof. There was a ton of snow up there and it was very cold. Notwithstanding these conditions, Jeremy came over in short order and fixed our problem. We were extremely grateful.

Jeff was great! He is friendly and knowledgeable. He didnt just install our appliances and backsplash but also explained everything we needed to know. He took his time and didnt rush through the process like some of the other contractors we have worked with in the past.
