This was my first move and I had a very good experience with VR Moving. Rita is always responsive with my questions and has kept me informed throughout the whole move. Moving home is quite stressful. But with the help of a group of great professionals, it turned out to be an enjoyable day for my wife and I. During the day, my wife asked me a few times "what should I be doing now?" and I told her that we just need to relax and do nothing. Many people go for the big moving companies, but I chose VR not because of their size, it just because they are a family run business and they just simply care. When I posted on Homestars for movers, I would have never expected to be contacted right away by a team as organized, caring, and helpful as VR Moving!

We were moving from our house, putting our things into storage, then into the new house 6 weeks later.

Right away, I spoke with Rita (the R in the name!) and she provided a prompt quote that was very competitive and comprehensive, also providing me with some helpful considerations to help with our packing and preparation. She was a quick text or call away whenever I had questions.

When the move day arrived, they showed up early, organized, and ready to rock with six (yes, six!) movers. During the day, I found out that they are a family business that is owned by Victor and Rita and involves their kids and extended family. Day one went extremely well and they filled our storage unit to the rim.

On the second move day, six weeks later, they again were on-time and ready to rock. They carefully handled our items and were extremely helpful in moving them into our home and into the proper rooms. Before they left, they all encouraged us to walk through the house to make sure everything was in the right place!

The best moving company by far, I have dealt with mediocre ones and have decided to choose them and they haven't disappointed a bit. From the point I've received a text for Rita on Saturday morning it was within 3 days we had to move and they were right on time and completed the work within 5hrs for a 4 bedroom home with 2 set of flights.
