We have a 2 ½ story 98 year old home that needed the top part of our chimney rebuilt. The SMC team was great to work with. They were punctual and professional. Stephen is very knowledgeable about his work and what needs to be done. He takes the time to explain to you what's going on with your brick/mortar, and why it's an issue by going over the proper way something should be completed. He arrived when he said he would and was quick with returning our estimate. We are very happy with the work that was done and have recommended SMC to our neighbours who both need some work done. For any future masonry work we will be using SMC.

Stephen and his crew did an excellent job of repairing and replacing some brickwork around my front entrance. We hired SMC Masonry in Aug of 2023 to replace 3 degraded window sills.

From the get go, Steve displayed immense knowledge of his craft, a true Master Mason at heart who provided a 360 comprehensive review of the property. He was very proactive and provided great insight to potential future problems that could be remedied if addressed early; although he did not attempt to upsell or inflate the price.

The day of the project; Steve and his crew arrived as scheduled, no delays or dramas, they were extremely meticulous and exhibited great attention to detail; truly displaying pride in their work. They went above and beyond what was outlined in the written quotation and rectified all visible imperfections around the property. The brick work was phenomenal flawlessly matching the colour to the existing brick, the pictures attached do not do justice to the quality work delivered.

His crew was Very respectful of our home and property, answered all our questions about the job plus other issues we have. Time line was quick and the Job site was clean when job finished. We hired SMC masonry to repair /replace the disintegrating bricks on our chimney and in other areas around the house foundation. Stephen replied promptly to my inquiry, requested pictures and then came out to see the damage to prepare an estimate. We were able to take advantage of a window of opportunity due to a rescheduled project. We took care of finding the brick and Stephen's expert team took care of the rest. We were very impressed with the quality of the work, the fair price and customer service. The team took care not to get any debris into our pool and the worksite was restored to the original condition. We would definitely hire SMC again and have recommended Stephen and his team to our neighbours.

The chimney in our rental house was crumbling. I called Stephen who promptly came on a rainy Sunday to take a look and give me an estimate. He explained what the work would entail and sent me a quote with the price which I accepted. The crew showed up a few days later and did an amazing job repairing the chimney.
