We hired the service of Top Shelf Construction Inc. & has just completed installing hardwood flooring/paint/flatten stucco ceiling of the entire second floor (3 bedrooms & hallway) as well as full redo of the stair, change spindle from wood to wrought iron and I tell you we are so happy and satisfied for the full service. Steven is very professional, punctual, polite and the working area is always clean. Price wise very reasonable. I will not hesitate to recommend them to any body who are looking to do their renovation.

We’ve been looking for a small bench but everything is always too long. We approached Steve for this small job and he asked a few questions to get to know our style etc. We sent him a pic to give some idea of what we wanted, provided measurements and voila - we had a Steven original! It fits just fine and it’s within our price point, and it feels sturdy and strong. He also updated us a couple of times on his progress complete with picture. Very professional and pleasant to work with.

Steve was so professional! He built a wall and installed 2 fire doors to make a legal basement apartment! he also boxed in a plumbing pipe the ran from the basement to the upstairs closet. Steve did such an amazing job drywalling and painting that i have family questioning whether it was always there! His work is so seamless that i would not hesitate to use him for future renovations! He also installed a vinyl floor for our basement kitchen, which looks awesome and definitely durable! His motivation and attention to detail makes him stand out! I have endured a lot of unprofessional contractors and Steve, without question, is the best of the best!!

My on suite bathroom had this old stand up shower in it that I wanted to have renovated in to something more usable. Steven was able to convert it in to a walk in closet for me. He did such a great job with this that I asked him to come back and install ceiling fans in both of my upstairs washrooms for me. He was on time, stayed within budget, and extremely professional for both jobs. He also kept his work spaces very clean and always cleaned up after himself afterwards. Which I very much appreciated. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have home renovations done in the future.

Steve did an excellent job. He painted our livingroom, dining room, hallways, basement, bathroom and both our front and back door. The back door needed a lot of work as it had rusted but now it looks brand new again. The whole job is fantastic and Steve himself is very efficient and friendly. While Steve was here painting our shower started to leak into the basement and I asked him if he could help and he figured out the source of the leak and repaired it perfectly. He is very neat when he works and cleans everything up each day before leaving
You would be lucky to hire Steve for whatever project you have.

Upon buying a condo I needed to have some work done before moving in. It's a 2 storey condo with the 2 bedrooms on the top floor in somewhat of a loft style with a glass railing overlooking the lower level. I had Steve come out to take a look as I was looking to have the railing removed and a wall with a window constructed in place to create more privacy for the bedrooms. Steve was extremely helpful in explaining the scope of the work as well as how it would be completed. He was very informative and kept great communication throughout the entire process sending me photos and updates on the work. I was very impressed with how clean he kept the work area as I stopped by a few times to check on progress. I will definitely be using Top Shelf Construction for any future projection.

I had a 2 piece bathroom in the basement and wanted to add a shower. Due to it's limited size, the bathroom had to be built in a different location. Steve did an awesome job removing the old bathroom and building a brand new 3 piece bathroom. He was extremely professional and courteous. His work area was spotless! He kept me informed of the progress of the project, which was completed on time within budget. I would absolutely recommend him! I've already scheduled him for another project.
