Jay and his crew dismantled an old fence and installed a new privacy fence on our corner lot in Orangeville, so lots of fencing. From start to finish we were very pleased with the how the project went. Jay arrived on time each day, communication was excellent, he implemented a few changes we wanted along the way, and more. I used TC contracting about 2 years ago to build an interlocking walkway at the front of my yard next to my driveway.
Jay and his team were very polite and easy to work with.

In terms of workmanship I think they did an OK job. Approximately 25% of the walkway has not held up well over the 2 years. I was expecting it to last at least 5 years before having to repair it.

1. Various stone on the lower half of the walkway have shifted and sunk.
2. Some of the larger stone rock back and forth when you walk on them and have become a tripping hazard.
3. Within 1 year quite a bit polymeric sand was missing. I think this is due to the stone shifting. If my memory serves me well I had asked him to add back the polymeric sand. But after asking a few times I gave up because I don't like running behind people. I had added the polymeric sand myself but eventually it came up because of how much the stone is shifting.

The top part of the walkway has held up very nicely without any issues. Only the bottom half of the walk has issues. I think workmanship was top notch at the start of the day but decreased by the end of the day. This might be why only the bottom half of the walkway has issues.

They finished our interlocking stone in our backyard and put in a step, looks amazing.
Great customer service, would definitely call on them again.

During the past year I've gutted and renovated my house, which meant working with several tradespeople. I hired TC Contracting to replace 120' of wood fence and they were by far the best experience. Jay and team are knowledgeable, polite, and do great work. Typically you're lucky to get one of these qualities when hiring a contractor. They take their work seriously and genuinely care about delivering outstanding results. I felt that they were doing the same quality of work they would do at there own home. I plan to hire TC next spring for my patio/landscaping needs. I highly recommend TC.

I received a virtual quote very quickly from my info, for a wooden fence across my back yard. Jay arrived the next day, inspected the area, said they would take the existing fence down at no extra charge, that it could be done in 1 day, within 2 weeks. This was very important as we have a rapidly growing active puppy.
I was given a time, they arrived , old fence came down , new one went up. They cleaned everything up , all in less than 6 hours.

Jay, Matt and Gio showed up timely over the course of three days. They were scheduled to install a fence and did effeciently and effectively. The job was actually fantastic. They were very communicative and even did a few things in my backyard at no extra charge. They took time to make sure even the smallest detail was completed correctly.
