Two ceiling fixtures were added to mechanical room. Cement floor painted. Old staircase removed and new one rebuilt. Drywall on either side of staircase replaced and painted. I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship that was completed on schedule.

The refinishing of the basement walls and coach house exterior not only has added comfort and value to our 1942 bungalow, but Valco at Covexco Inc. was also a knowledgeable, organized, meticulous craftsman who understood the quirkiness of our older home and was a pleasure to work with.

Once upon a time, there was a nasty, ugly vanity, poor lighting, a squeaky bathroom fan and a chipped claw foot tub in a little bathroom. Valco made a beautiful vanity that made better use of the space, installed nice bright LED lighting. He created a shower with bench and glass enclosure, tiling that matched with existing flooring, suggested and created a nice wall niche shelf for the many shampoos and soaps that come with teens in the household. The fan? He disconnected the squeaky fan motor, took it home, cleaned it up and reinstalled it...it works perfectly. Above and beyond IMO.
He did a great job of splitting a large study/ yoga space into two bedrooms and reused and matched flooring materials creatively.
Oh, and each day he cleaned up the workspace, organizing his tools and equipment for the next day's work.

A job very well done!

The backyard deck needed repair and part of the fence replaced; Valco provided a fair quote which included a realistic timeline, all materials, removal of the old fencing and installation of a new one. He arrived on time, brought everything needed and completed the work quickly and efficiently and the new fence is beautiful and built to last. Valco didn't bat an eye when told the only access to the backyard was through the house and was very careful when bring the materials through. His work is very well done, with much attention to detail. He is a true professional.

As a first-time homeowner, I had never been through a renovation before and was overwhelmed to say the least. Valco was responsive and courteous. He not only had all the answers, he asked the right questions. He made sure that my kitchen would not only be functional, but beautiful. I felt totally comfortable leaving Valco and Dominic in my home to do their work and it was always neat and tidy on my return. Valco said he wanted to start the project on a Monday so I could enjoy my kitchen by the weekend. I was skeptical, but on Saturday, it was done and right on budget! I would highly recommend Covexco without hesitation.

Out of all the general contractors on this site Valco was the most consistent and fast with communication and even helped me before I’d hired him by telling me things to check on the wall I wanted to remove. He came and removed the wall separating my two closets - he did it quickly and efficiently and he was lovely as well! He even fixed my other closet door I’d accidentally broken. Would definitely recommend, he was great.

Valco, was excellent in studding the basement for us. We have know him for years, and we still call him for all of are jobs! He is always, on point! We highly recommend him to all of are family and friends.
