Chris and his team seemed very organized and were so pleasant to work with. They arrived early and cut my 48 ft. balsam fir tree in the time they said it would take. I watched in awe as Chris climbed the tall slender tree, and meticulously cut section by section while communicating with his ground crew. They complied with my wishes to leave about 9 ft. of the tree trunk in the ground, since I had a clothes line attached to it. I had also asked them to cut the tree trunk in sections for me to use as pedestals for potted plants and they did just that. The yard was left very clean as they removed all branches and twigs. Great work!

We needed a 60 ft pine tree cut down.
I have used someone else on the past but wasnt sure if they were still in business so I looked for a tree cutting service in home stars. I am glad I did! Within days Man with an Axe sent someone over to take a look and give me a quote. It was a very fair price and they would also get the job down within a couple of weeks!
As promised the job was completed within a couple of weeks. They did such a great job of removing the tree and grinding the stump that you would never know a tree had been there for the past 25 years. I was very impressed with how quickly they completed the job (within a few hours). I will definitely be referring Man with an Axe to. Anyone needing this type of service!

Crew got in early and started the work on time. Everything was very well organized. They did exactly what we had discussed in advance and then some; very thankful for that, including the care they showed around the yard to make sure nothing got damaged in the process.

Received estimate on day of request, and had work completed next day because it was a smaller job they could fit in. 4 person crew showed up on time, tarped neighbour's driveway and were ready to go after completing all their safety checks. They completed the job as specified and within the promised time frame. They also accommodated my request to leave logs for firewood cut to a usable length. Clean up was very thorough. They left the driveway and road cleaner than they found it. Overall, a personable and professional crew who I would highly recommend and use again for future tree removal services.

An arborist came around in just a few days to determine the scope of work followed by a reasonable quote which I accepted. Within a week, a three-men crew arrived as scheduled to get the job done. Chris (the owner) and the entire Man With An Axe crew are a delight to work with. Chris is very relaxed, congenial and knows his stuff. Watching his crew climb and trim branches off our large trees was like watching the Picassos of the arborist world! True craftsmanship is hard to find and these guys exemplify that elusive skill.
