We recently needed to improve the accessibility of our house adding wall railings on two sets of stairs and upgrading a bathroom.
We had a short timeframe to complete these changes. Based on our very positive experience with Canary Construction a few years ago, we hired them again for this project.
The new wall railings are a perfect match for the existing stair railings. They provide the safety factor we needed, and also look fabulous.
Our very small bathroom was a challenge. Claudio and his team magically created a very beautiful bathroom, with a zero threshold shower, built in bench, easily reachable water controls, and appropriately placed grab bars. They transformed a bathroom that was potentially dangerous to one that is functional and relaxing.
Everyone anticipates home renovations to be stressful. Our experience with Canary Construction is that Claudio relieves much of that stress. He and his team are professional, reliable, and fair. Claudio is readily available throughout the project to answer any questions and address any concerns. Canary Construction continues to be our first (and only) choice for home renovation projects. We recommend Canary Construction to anyone considering a renovation project.

Claudio and his crew, as always, had excellent communication, a competitive price and did fantastic work. We fixed up our veranda, removed inbuilt planters and had grass and flagstone installed. The work was done quickly and we are very happy with it.

Claudio and his team were fantastic!  Very clean, friendly and workmanship was excellent. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted in our basement,  Claudio listened to what we wanted and gave us great ideas and suggestions on what he thought would be best based on his extensive experience.

We are so happy with our basement and we use it all the time. Claudio turned out dark basement into a bright and welcoming place the entire family can use.

We got the floors on the main floor refinished and the walls painted as well as some other odds and ends to refresh the area. Canary Construction did a fantastic job. I've been getting so many compliments on the quality of the work - especially the painting. I'm extremely satisfied and wish I had gotten this work done sooner.

You will not find a more loyal and knowledgeable contractor. I have worked with Claudio for over two years on a large project, and was never disappointed. He is true to his word, communicates well, extremely competent and knowledgeable in all areas. Claudio has fantastic trades in every field of work that are reliable and professional. Claudio is present on-site regularly and sees the job through until the very end. He has old-school work ethic and is wonderful to work with as he is kind but firm with his opinions. Claudio will work within any budget, offer his opinions and suggestions, but will respect yours.
I would only work with Canary Construction for any and all projects in the future.

Canary construction did a good job putting in our driveway and portico. The employees were courteous and diligent and Claudio was easy to work with.

Claudio’s team did a terrific job rebuilding the front entrance of the house. Workmanship was top notch and everything was done a a timely basis. We have received many compliments from neighbourhood people who have seen the work. We are very happy with the results.
