Maydone Appliance Repair

I had a dryer that made a lot of noise over a period of time then just stopped working. I contacted Maydone who arranged an appointment very quickly, and Igor came at the earliest of the time frame provided. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the dryer because it required a part that had to be ordered. I was asked if I wished to continue, by ordering the part and i did. It took a few days to arrive and then Igor returned, took the whole dryer apart put in the new part and reassembled the dryer in under an hour. It now works very well and i could not be more pleased. Well done. It's nice to find reliable and professional service people.

Our fridge's digital display was not working properly as well as the ice machine. Igor was amazing and able to fix everything with minimal cost. I would use Maydone again in an instant!

The friendly repair man was able to find the problem very fast and they had the parts so he came back the same day to fix it. Would recommend them for sure!

Maydone appliances was assigned a support request from Kitchen Aid for my fridge. The repair man (Vitalii) was on-time, courteous and knowledgeable - he identified that the buildup of frost/ice at the back of my fridge was due to the fan not working causing the temperature to heat up and compressor to overwork. There was also an issue with the ice maker which he was able to diagnose. He ordered the parts and was back in a week to install it. The repair was done efficiently and the work, luckily, was covered under warranty. It was an excellent experience.

Very timely response to my inquiry to come to my house to fix our oven that was not heating up. Great service, friendly and competent. Needed to order a part and had the quote ready for me the next day. Very satisfied.

Hi I have this LG Range which my oven stoped working , I called Maydone for help with that, not only responce was very quick the same day , technician ( Amal ) was very prompt and knowledgeable , he came with the part with him, but it needed another part to make it work , which we found out that main part is been discontinued unfortunately. I was taking a shot in the dark looking for someone local to repair my appliance. I found a few but these guys had some positive feedback.
Coordinating work, times and the costs were done well.
Payment done on site conveniently with an emailed receipt as soon as it's received.
I will be calling them when anything else need work.

Maydone Appliance Repair is professional, reliable and got the job done in good time. I contacted Viking Appliances originally to ask for their recommended repair companies. Of the two they recommended one has dreadful reviews online and the other has none. I decided to contact Maydone based on excellent reviews on HomeStars.

Repair person arrived on time, assessed the situation and let us know he would have to schedule a follow up as the job required two people. They came back the next week and finished the job well. Oven now works.

It is crazy how expensive appliances do not stand the test of time and how expensive they are to repair. This is not a negative reflection on Maydone but it is of the appliance manufacturing industry in North America. As I understand it, most home appliances are built to higher standards in Europe. Here in North America, it feels like they are not built to last and that the manufacturing industry is complicit in creating unnecessary landfill and excessive costs to consumer.

We will not buy Viking appliances in the future - too high cost and they don't last.
