My wife and I have waited 23 years in order to do a complete renovation of our Master bathroom. When we started to get quotes from contractors we realized at how important it was to choose the right contractor in order to deliver a quality product. We were very impressed with the previous jobs that Michael completed but what sold us was Michael's can-do approach. There were several times that schedules had to be modified due to my work schedule and changes had to be made to the original plan that we agreed on. Michael was very accommodating and bent over backwards to deliver what we wanted and as close to the original budget as possible. On one occasion we had second thoughts with the vanity that Michael had chosen. Michael addressed all our concerns and was able to arrange for a custom made vanity with the desired features and quality that we wanted. It was slightly more expensive but we were very happy with the unique design and final results.

We will be hiring Michael to do our main 2nd floor bathroom in October as well as other renovations projects that we have planned for the next two to three years. It is rare that you find someone you can trust. When you do you don't let them go.

Project: Convert bath/shower combination to a walk-in shower in a condo.

Quote - Process: I received four quotes for this project and chose 6ix Build (Michael) as they provided the most informative, consultative quote in the promised time frame (the evening of the quote).

Quote - Cost: 6ix Build provided a competitive quote, which provided a ready comparison to other companies. Other companies took liberties in providing a lump-sum quote (excluding all material) and these exceeded both the budget for, and total cost of this project.

Project - Timeline: The project was scheduled at a mutually convenient time, started as promised and communication prior to and throughout the project, allowed the project to progress at a healthy pace. 6ix Build's scheduling of sub-contracted trades ensured there was no unnecessary downtime and the extension of the completion timeline was communicated and reasonable in the circumstances.

Project - Design: The project was executed based on floorplans and designs provided to 6ix Build. The 6ix Build team (6ix Build + subcontractors) were an informative source when discussing the practicality and objectives of the project, ready to provide (or consider alternative) options and solutions where required.

Project - Subcontractors: The subcontractors employed by 6ix Build spoke highly of 6ix Build and other projects on which they had collaborated with 6ix Build. 6ix Build coordinated all subcontractors and ensured the quality of their work.

Project - Finish: The 6ix Build team were collaborative in the execution of elements which were either atypical (e.g. a 4" tiled black curb) or highly detail oriented (e.g. grout lines aligned from bathroom floor to shower floor, including up and over the curb).

Overall: The 6ix Build team delivered a stunning walk-in shower that I am still surprised to find in my bathroom every morning. The quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of the 6ix Build team is evident in the 'after' photos below. I would highly recommend 6ix Build for any interior project you are considering.

I needed partial help with my basement renovation, particularly dry walling, mud, sanding, and hanging doors. Mike came in, gave a very reasonable quote, and completed everything in less than a week. There were some minor things that needed touch up and Mike came back immediately to fix them. Very happy with the finished work. Quick, reasonably priced, and quality work.
