Modern Decks And Vinyl Fences

My wife and I contracted Alan Poullis of Modern Decks and Vinyl Fences, to remove our old wooden fence and install a new white vinyl fence in our backyard.
When we met with Alan to get a quote, he was very detailed in his explanations and pricing of the fence. There were some sloping issues with our property, but Alan new exactly what to do and how to overcome the difficulties, with retaining walls.
On the day of installation, Alan and his assistant Marco showed up early in the morning and started working right away.
Over the course of the next 4 days, Alan and Marco worked very hard, taking virtually no break.
Alan consulted us along the way to ensure all aspects of the installation were being met with satisfaction.
We found Alan to be the most honest, conscientious contractor we have ever met. His passion for perfection was beyond our expectations. This man is the Picasso of fences.
The fence was perfect to say the least. My wife and I almost fell to our knees with happiness when we saw how magnificent the fence looked.
At the very end, Alan asked if we were satisfied, and if there was anything more he could have done. We said no. You cannot improve on perfection.
Anyone who contracts Modern Decks for work will not be disappointed.

We moved into a beautiful bungalow in Scarborough and entered the world of pool ownership. With three young children, we did not want to take any chances and wanted to install some type of fencing. We were quoted over $5000 for one of those temporary mesh types. Enter Alan and his amazing team. He worked with our budget and built us a beautiful steel fence around the pool. He is creative, friendly, professional and courteous. Communication was excellent and we are so happy with the end result. It might sound cliche but he treated us like we were family and made it his personal mission to make our outdoor living space functional, beautiful and safe! Also, he loves his work, he was willing to spend time for making our shower until we satisfied. I did have very bad experience with contractors but Alan is the first contractor I trusted. We are extremely happy with the work that Modern Decks did for us in our back yard. We left some of the creative aspects to Alan and he did not disappoint! The deck he built us is beautiful and functional. We also had a hot tub installed and Alan made sure that the cement pad was ready before it was delivered. The quote we received was fair and we feel we got more than our money’s worth. Alan even installed a vinyl privacy fence and pergola as well as lights built into the deck that were not part of the original quote at no extra charge.
