Keith and his team completely reno'd our front and back yards in only 2 days! After just meeting Keith I knew he understood exactly what I wanted and felt very comfortable leaving the project in his hands. We found that everyone on the team was professional and very friendly. Nobody was afraid to ask questions to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. I am super pleased with how it all turned out and would highly recommend them for any project you have. We used BCI to complete our backyard last summer and really liked how efficient the team was and most of the end product. Keith was very communicative at the time.
Following the work, we uncovered some issues which my husband had to address and also damage at the front of our driveway and although I persistently messaged, and was told that the issue would be resolved a number of times, it has never (to this day) been resolved. I believe that issues happen but it is truly about the follow up / resolution. Despite trying to be more than reasonable give the pandemic challenges and the need for the company to complete other jobs, they unfortunately left us disappointed and had that not happened, we would have used them for additional jobs. Once that final payment was made, it seems as though our satisfaction stopped being a priority.

I am a Civil Engineer, I work with most of the large contractors in Canada. Working with Derek of BCI, I found him patient, knowledgeable, with great ideas to help work through our design. When it came to construction his team was proficient, respectful and well skilled. The end product of our raised garden, 500ft2 interlocking stone patio with a built in fireplace came out exactly what my wife and I were looking for. I don’t give out compliments lightly based on my experience in construction. I would highly recommend BCI Landscaping for your future project.

We went with BCI landscaping & hardscapes after reading homestars reviews and meeting with a few contractors.
Our backyard is quite unique as it is a townhouse and the only access is through a man-door in the garage. Some companies didn't even bother to quote us, other companies gave us astronomical quotes.
Derek's quote was very fair. Coupled with the reviews given on Homestars, we enthusiastically went with this company.
They nailed our simple vision and were able to come up with practical solutions to some of the roadblocks we had. Derek also provided some suggestions that we really enjoyed.
Our project included interlock, new sod, tree removal, and new mulch.
Everything was done quicker than we expected, and we are thrilled with the outcome. The team was friendly, respectful, and easy to communicate with.

Great experience with BCI Landscaping. Derek and team were responsive when others were not. They consulted on the layout, gave sound advise and executed flawlessly. Professional, kind, timely and a complete joy to have met the team and have them do some amazing work around our pool. Highly recommended.

Like most of us, our home has been our sanctuary for the past year. Making it hard to travel and congregate as family and friends. The only goodness coming out of this experience was our overdue backyard renovation.

So after hitting the marketplace and having 4-5 quotes from various companies we decide to go with BCI. We chose Derek because of how accommodating he made his feel during estimates , never pressured us into any corners; and most often working creatively with our ideas and budget.

We loved his tech savvy fly-by video giving us a visual of the project. This was a great touch since it started to set our expectations straight for the work ahead. We signed up and awaited a start date. To our delight, he called 1 week ahead of schedule and was ready to start.

One of the benefits of working from home allowed us to have an eye out on the progress. We got to appreciate the effort, meticulousness and camaraderie Derek and his team bring to work. Going often out of their way to tackle obstacles unforeseen. They treated our property like it was their own keeping it tidy after a day’s work. I had to check if we hired a cleaning service or a landscaping company. Even our neighbours complimented their work ethic.

As much as we looked forward to completion of this project what we really enjoyed was the journey and transformation. Derek and his team organized themselves each day, they didn’t cut any corners and solved every issue without any compromises.

Whether you are on a small or large budget, BCI takes a lot of pride in the lot work. We would highly recommend BCI to my family and friends.

We are really glad we went with BCI. We got their contact info from another house on our street that had a really nice front garden and walkway. Dealing with Keith from BCI was hassle-free and very smooth. Keith came over to take a look at the site promptly and helped us refine our vision and provide options and ideas. We also appreciated the willingness to work within our budget. Once the contract was signed, Keith and his team were on site as scheduled and worked surprisingly fast to complete the project. The team was really friendly and helpful and were always double checking with us about details rather than just making assumptions. We also appreciated their willingness to make last minute adjustments and accommodate our requested changes as the work progressed. The final outcome is the walkway and garden we always wanted!
