Sam Rad Renovation

Sam came up with good ideas for design and products. The work was completed to all my expectations and I'm happy with my completely new bathroom.

Sam and his team did a great job on my condo Renovation. The project included removal of popcorn ceilings, new hardwood floors, new paint and the brand new bathroom design.
Sam was able to schedule separate teams to work simultaneously in different parts of the unit. 

They were very focused on making sure all aspects of our renovation were perfect.

The complete gutting and renovation of a small bathroom in a apartment owned by a detailed oriented and picky person, who spends way too much time looking at home design magazines and websites.
Fortunately, I chose Sam Rad to do the work.  Sam was infinitely patient and absolutely meticulous about not exceeding his original cost estimate, even when his own costs of doing the work and buying the materials grew because of unexpected challenges.

They did a beautiful job waterproofing the bath/shower enclosure, installing all new high-end fixtures and custom-made vanity (with a gorgeous stone countertop), laying tiles (floor, walls and shower) and painting, all while doing their best to protect the rest of my unit.  Sam was always easy to contact when questions arose (including evenings and weekends), and did everything possible to ensure I was happy with the results.

In addition, Sam and his team of professionals did an outstanding job in installing new hardwood floors. They did everything from ripping out the carpet and old hardwood, replacing the floors and throwing out the old carpet. They installed hardwood floors in my living room, office, kitchen dining room, bedroom and closets. The crew was great and did a very super job. They all went above and beyond. The floors turned out even better than I expected!

I've always been leery about hiring contractors, and my past experience hasn't always been good. However, with Sam Rad, my concerns were completely allayed as these are among the most honest, capable, hard-working people I've ever dealt with. Sam cares deeply about doing right by his customers. He is professional, kind and easy to deal with. 

There were no surprises in my final invoice and the project was completed in a reasonable amount of time.
They accommodated all my requests and really worked hard to please me. I have had so many compliments and have already referred them to several neighbours and friends.

We hired Sam on the spot during our first meeting. From the start he made us feel comfortable and confident with his knowledge and experience. This was our first home renovation so he helped us out along the way with decisions and any issues that arose. Him and his team went above and beyond helping with other projects we had besides the 3 bathroom renovation he was originally hired for.

We discovered our bathroom was leaking somewhere and decided to do a full reno. We put out a call for quotes and SamRad Renovations was the first to respond.
The process was easy and Sam was very quick to respond to questions and need for clarifications. It was finally down to 2 firms and once the quotes were similar in terms of scope, Sam won with the best price (and was the quickest to respond which increased confidence).
He and his crew were polite and efficient. There was additional work required due to our leak and they did this at reasonable cost.
The quality of the completed work was good, and in some cases above expectations.
We have already hired Sam for our next project, and are considering getting the kitchen done because of his quality work at great prices (because now we have a little more money left over from the bathroom projects).

The work was well done, on time, very patient, good communication, honest, my bathroom is beautiful now.

Sam & crew reworked our ensuite shower, which involved demolition and renovation, keeping some existing elements (shower base) and bringing the shower to code with proper wallboard (concrete board and schluter sys.). Sam stayed on budget, and showed professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the project. There was good communication before each work day and we knew what to expect. I am very pleased with the base work (demo, concrete board, schluter membrane, tile work). Re-installing the custom glass proved to be a challenge, and the team did the right thing by re-ordering the glass. Good work overall !
