it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Allen at Unique Potlights. I had my popcorn ceilings done and Ceiling Pro had recommended Unique Potlights, and Im glad they did. Allen and his hard working assistant, Harly worked hard to get all 32 pot lights ( 12 of them in my 17ft ceilings) installed the day before my popcorn ceilings were done. Allen even followed up a few days after to make sure all was good once the popcorn ceilings were done and the pots were popped back in.

I would absolutely recommend Unique Potlight to anyone considering having new potlights installed.

My friend referred Alan to us ,Alan showed up on time , my house wiring was nub and tube , Alan and hes crew starting the job before starting explaining me everything, they was 6 pro to did the job , Alan was so respectful, fast and professional, they wiring and inspection came to my place and passed the job and then after we do drywall and painting they came back and finished the job , hes trustable,overall they was pro, clean up after the job ,they dont leave the mess and hes price was fair ,

We called Unique Potlight for a quote based on good reviews on Homestars. They were very responsive, came the next day for an in-person estimate and a week later came to install under-cabinet lighting, potlights and new fixtures. They were did great work and were efficient and cleaned up afterward. Very happy with the results and service!

We originally found Unique Potlights through the Electrical Safety authority (ESA) website. We wanted someone who not only had experience putting up pot lights but also did them up to code and properly inspected: You would be surprised the number of other installers who overload circuits for the sake of ease. Fortunately, unique was up to the task!

When we first called Allen he actually came over to take a look to see what needed to be done and gave us a preliminary quote. He gave us some design ideas which were wonderful. He was thorough and was upfront on how the pot lights were going to be wired given that we wanted the work to be inspected afterwards. He actually came a second time the day before the installation because we wanted to make a few (large) changes and he was very accommodating. It never felt like he was trying to push excessive pot lights on us and even recommended scaling back on lighting in certain rooms because it would have been too bright.

On the day of the installation he came in early and laid down protective liner on the floor and began his work. Every step of the installation he let us know before starting to make sure we were happy with the layout. He even showed us the different color warmth of each light before installing so we were able to get a feel for the ambiance of the room. His crew also installed 3 island lights, a large fixture over a landing, two bathroom vanity lights along with two additional switches. His crew worked efficiently and was surprisingly done in a single day. Afterwards we had the ESA inspection and it passed.

I can tell that Allen stands by his work because even after the work was done he actually came back a few weeks later to fix one of the pot lights that were malfunctioning when I mentioned it to him.

I would strongly recommend Unique for anyone who wants their pot lights done quickly, affordably, and correctly. They also do other electrical work like panel upgrades.
