It is with sincere pleasure and the utmost confidence that I recommend Toronto Restoration Services. Jason and his team transformed our weary-looking honey-coloured living room hardwood floor into a superb, rich-looking dark one. Jason is very organized and is an excellent communicator. Also, there were no unpleasant surprises with the final cost: the price quoted was the price paid. I have no reservations about calling Jason and his team for future refinishing projects.

We were near the end of a kitchen reno, and needed the floor to be sanded and refinished. At first we went with a company recommended to us, but realized fairly quickly that they were fairly new to the business and used rented equipment. A job that was supposed to last 2 to 3 days started off with long gouges in the floor, which really came to light when the stain was put on. To add insult to injury the stain didn't match the floors in the hallway & living room. The original company sent in their top guy to try to fix everything, but 5 full working days later -- with other contractors put on hold -- he couldn't fix the issue. It was bad enough that several people recommended a full replacement. Long story short, Toronto Restoration Services was recommended to us. Jason reassured us that he and his crew would be able to do the job to our complete satisfaction, and to do it in two days or less. He was right. Alex and Oscar took care of the resanding in one afternoon, with dust-suppression vacuums that kept the mess to a minimum. Alex (truly an artist) came by the following day for the final stages, building the finish up by layers -- filler, perfectly matched stain, buffering, varnish layers -- followed by the quarter round + kickplates. Perfection! Another difference between the two companies was the smell: the first used something with enough VOCs to kill flies. Toronto Restoration was almost odour-free.

Jason and his crew did a great job on my hardwood floors. It exceeded my expectations. My 60+ year old floors look brand new I would totally recommend Jason and his guys to everyone. Great job guys!!

Jason and his team completed a four-surface renovation of our condo (hardwood floor refinishing, popcorn ceiling removal, walls patching and painting). Throughout the process Jason was very easy to communicate with and the job was completed on time and on budget with his employees working nights and weekends to get the job done. Jason did an amazing job on my floors, he was in contact with me from start to finish, explaining the steps he would be taking, once he was complete my house was completely clean, you wouldnt even know they were there - if it wasnt for the shiny floors that looked like brand new hardwood. 10/10 would reccomend.

I wasnt sure if my hardwood floors were salvageable so Jason came, he and his crew removed some damaged strips and installed new, sanded, stained, sealed and clear coated the entire upper level of my house plus the stairs. Then he arranged for baseboards to be delivered and installed. This looks like a different house now, and he managed to squeeze me in on short notice and completed the entire job before Christmas. I highly recommend this company.

We researched for a good 8 months and looked into multiple other companies and options before settling with Jason.

It was a big job to refinish floors and stairs.
The short version is that Jason and his team did outstanding work.

The long version: Better than new is often a cliché but not with Jason and team. Every single inch of wood floor was treated to perfection. We were around the house as the work was being done. They treated our house like the would their own.
The team arrived on time, left the house clean and made sure to work around our schedule as best as they could.
As the work progressed, we had some timing issues with our supplier, Jason and team accommodated without issue.
The one thing that would make me call Jason again is his absolute dedication to making his customer happy. As the floors were sanded and ready to be refinished, we realized that the option we had gone with was not going to work for us. Not only did Jason not have an issue with it, he spent a considerable amount of time, making blends and working with us to get the perfect colour and shade. He would not stop until we got exactly what we wanted. This was the moment where we knew we had gone with the right team.
We also had some small issues with the stairs shortly after the stairs work was completed, Jason and team came back to fix.

In the end, we were extremely happy with the work, the wood floors and the stairs are immaculate. We appreciated the professionalism throughout!
