Fabiano and his crew did a great job. They finished on time and on budget, and even took care of several "extras" along the way (some repainting, extractor fan replacement, new closet shelving, pot lights and new faucet in kitchen, new electrical covers and plugs). The final budget I listed here includes all the extras. They cleaned up nicely each day and were respectful of our space and of the condo regulations. Fabiano was always quick to respond to calls and text messages before and during the project. They did one bathroom at a time, so we always had one working bathroom. We are very happy with the results, and we would contact them again in the future. (Thanks to Ronaldo, Ramon, Douglas and Filipi, too!)

We finally decided to renovate our 25+ year old kitchen this spring. The idea of this major renovation had been daunting to say the least, but, Fabiano and his team made it easier for us. We had quotes from three contractors and we found that Fabiano was the most reasonable not because his quote was lower than the other two companies but because of his willingness to work things out in order to keep the renovation cost within our budget. Because of this, we were able extend the project beyond our original scope, for example, to replace the hardwood floor of our living room, to replace two back doors, and to paint first floor and second floor hallways so the new kitchen blends in well with the rest of the house.

I am very impressed with the professionalism exhibited by FV Renovations. Fabiano and his team were courteous, efficient and always cleaned up after each work day. The thing I appreciated the most was Fabiano's dedication. He was always reachable via text and email and he responded quickly even on weekends. This is not something I am used to when dealing with contractors.

My husband and I love our new kitchen and we would not hesitate hiring Fabiano and his team back for future projects.

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so, I hope that the images I am including here of our brand new kitchen will show off the workmanship of FV Renovations.

We were really impressed by the work that Fabiano and his team did on our kitchen. We have an older home (+100 years) and we had a very tight timeline (with a baby on the way). Fv Renovations was able to keep to that timeline and finish the work to a high quality. They also stayed within the quote they initially provided us (with some additional fees for additional work we added in later). Regarding the kitchen, we had the floor leveled, new flooring installed, new cabinets, countertop and appliances installed, wall insulation replaced and ceiling potlights put in. We had decided to install an IKEA kitchen, and Fabiano had a great understanding of their products and was able to work with our IKEA design to ensure our new kitchen had the most effective layout possible (which was especially important since it's a smaller kitchen). He also helped us out with other work around the house that came up last minute (electric connections, lighting fixtures, etc.). Fabiano stayed in good contact throughout the project and responded quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Fv Renovations to others and plan on using them again for any future renovations we have done in the house.

They did a great job fixing up our bathroom. Everything looks great and are working properly. The work was completed sooner than expected and stayed on budget. They took care of everything for us. Will be using them again in the future.

Our basement seemed hopeless, until FV Renovations came along. Everyone who worked in the project was an expert in their own right, inspired by their team leader, Fabiano Virgolino. We found it very easy to work with Fabiano who made good suggestions and followed through. The proof of their great work is in the pictures. We received more than what we signed for in the contract, the project finished on time, and within budget. We would definitely work with FV Reno on future needs and recommend them to our family and friends.

Fabiano and his team did a great job with our bathroom renovation.

Communication was excellent – he was very quick to respond and everyone was friendly and nice to work with.

The price was very fair and would have finished ahead of schedule except for an issue with a broken faucet part that had to be ordered.

Once it was received they were back to work right away.

Our new bathroom is beautiful and we’re very happy with it.

This renovation project included:
- demolition of old kitchen cabinets and installation of new IKEA kitchen, plumbing to add dishwasher and water line to fridge, replace pot lights, and painting, installation of Caesarstone quartz countertop and new appliances
- opening walls and installation of support beam to create open concept between kitchen, living room and dining room
- installation of new pot lights in living room and dining room with dimmer switch as well as light fixture and pendant lights
- demo of old flooring and installation of new hardwood throughout
- demo of old tile in hallway and powder room; installation of new tile
- installation of new vanity, toilet, storage cabinet and mirror in powder room
- drywall (where needed), painting and new baseboards throughout
- removal of old radiators and installation of 4 new radiators in living room, dining room, and family room.

Fabiano is very professional and friendly and maintained open lines of communication from start to finish. We encountered a few issues along the way, as is the case with most reno projects, and he provided satisfactory solutions to them all. He was always willing to respond to my questions and concerns in a timely manner and with thoughtful explanations and solutions.

The FV Renovations team was friendly, respectful and professional, which was very important to us as we lived in our house throughout the renovation and saw them everyday.

The job came in on budget and we are very happy with the final result and received many compliments from family and friends. (The budget included in this review includes all labour and materials, including appliances).

We would definitely recommend this company and plan to work with Fabiano and his team again on some future projects in our home.

We planned to do bit changing in our kitchen. The service that was provided was fantastic !!! They were clean and fast . I would highly recommended them for their good work.

Fabiano and his team did a tremendous job. We received quotes from several contractors (10+) and ultimately decided to go with Fabiano because: he was knowledgable; he's experienced; his work looked great; his price was fair. We were very pleased with our decision and would recommend him.

We had 4 main aspects to our renovation: new bathroom; hardwood flooring; staircase revitalization; and potlights. This took 4 weeks total and was in line with his original quote/scope of work.

Bathroom
- Fabiano had to completely gut the bathroom and replaced all of our plumbing and subfloor at no additional cost because "it needed to be done". This was awesome to see because he didn't cut corners.
- We were missing some materials since we ordered items online and Fabiano went the extra mile to pick up the materials for us at a store
- He gave us consistent and frequent updates on progress and stuck to the work back schedule and contract agreement

Flooring
- New hardwood flooring including removal and demolition of old flooring
- Replaced and buffered subfloor so there is no squeaking in the hardwood which is common with some hardwood installation
- He also replaced all of our trim and painted the walls to complete the room + bought some finishing touches like new floor vents

Staircase
- We had a totally unfinished staircase which Fabiano completely refinished with custom Oak cuts.
- Originally he stained the staircase a color we didn't like but immediately changed it after we talked to him about it at no additional charge. I think this is ultimately what you want in a contractor - mistakes are going to happen, but you want someone you can talk with and is reasonable about the situation.

Potlights/Electrical
- Total Fabiano put in ~20 potlights across both of our floors.
- Dimmers installed throughout as well as a fan

Throughout all of this Fabiano is very responsive - he would almost immediately text us back if we ever reached out to him.
