Fv Renovations

This is my second renovation with the wonderful Fabiano and his great team, this time it was Fabiano himself and Felipe and Paulo. I had a new deck floor put on my very large deck as some of the original boards were starting to rot. These guys worked so hard and did a wonderful job I couldnt be happier.
You cant find a better group of people to work for you they are kind, thoughtful and most of all honest.

FV Renovations was hired to renovate 2 bathrooms: 1) Our original Master Ensuite shower drain leaked onto the kitchen ceiling below. FV was hired to gut the Ensuite and install a new free-standing tub, glass wall shower, vanity, toilet and wall and floor tiles throughout. 2) In the main family bathroom, FV demolished the bulkhead, replaced the bathtub and tiles surrounding the tub and on the floor.

We had many issues throughout this project. To keep this review fair, well just keep to the facts.

Out of the 4 fixture installations in the Ensuite, we had problems with 3 installations. At completion, the hot and cold water was reversed on the free-standing tub resulting also in the Riobel shower kit not functioning properly. The NEW shower drain leaked onto the kitchen ceiling below, resulting in the ceiling being CUT OPEN FROM BELOW to repair that. One of the vanity drains leaked inside the new cabinetry. So far, fingers crossed, the toilet is the only proper installation in that bathroom.

In the main family bathroom, despite some avoidable hiccups, we are pleased with the result.

The 2 most important trades in any bathroom renovation are the plumber and the tile setter. Unfortunately for us, the plumber was no good and the promised tile setter NEVER showed up. Fabiano, the owner of FV, did a good job with the complicated tile work, but it took longer than a tile setter would have. 4 weeks became 7 weeks. On the plus side, the painter was good, and the glass shower guy did an amazing job.

The entire crew was polite and tidy. Fabiano seemed like a responsible man who unfortunately had a motley crew with varying skill levels. He fixed up their mistakes without laying blame. Perhaps we just had bad luck and got FV at the wrong time. Our biggest beef now is the kitchen ceiling is left with an ugly box that has become a new problem for us to deal with see photo.

Completed full renovations of 2 bathrooms and installed a new backsplash for the kitchen. Highly recommend FV Renovations as the work was top quality! Work was completed with great workmanship and on time. Couldn't be happier with my renovation job. 5 stars!

Fabiano was such a pleasure to work with from the start. After reading so many great reviews we felt confident in hiring him and his team for our renos. We challenged him with the following main projects:
- overhaul the laundry/furnace room
- change 3 windows
- new door installation
- create new closet that was functional for clothes and storage
- create storage under the stairs
- add railing to staircase
- new jambs and sliding glass door on shower
- barn door and pocket door installation
- removal of built in bookcase (including changing pipe)
In addition to the above there were also other smaller projects as well that his team did a great job on.
Fabiano always listened to our requests and concerns and was always such a calm presence to deal with. When we had some last minute additions (removal of bookcase for instance, which ended up having a surprise pipe issue), he graciously added it on and did a better job than we could have hoped for! The rest of his team was also so polite, courteous and respectful. By far my favourite pieces were the new closet and the pocket door. All the changes he has helped us achieve in our home has made our lives much improved. We will definitely consider FV Renovations for future projects

Fabio and his team were great to work with and did an amazing job on our bathroom reno. He sent updated pictures every day and both my wife and I were very happy with the overall results. We would definitely use Fabios company again for future projects around our house.

Fabiano and his team turned the dungeon under my house into a cool living space.
They worked with me to restore a brick wall, finish a wood beam and turn an old door into a barn door.
Im thrilled with the result.

I had a about 5 contractors come and give me a quote for my basement renovation project and I chose FV Renovations because Fabiano was very thorough in explaining the scope of the project, breakdown of cost and he took the time to measure the rooms and walk me through everything. He wasn't the cheapest but was still reasonable with the cost.

When the project started, he and his team explained everything they were doing and communicated with me if there were any issues or delays. We had some delays that were out of their control because I had some basement waterproofing issues as many older homes do. Throughout each phase of the project, Fabiano came to check on the work and continued to have constant communication with me to ensure I was happy with their work. I highly recommend Fabiano and his team as they made me feel at ease when renovations are typically stressful.

Fabiano and his team were professional and friendly. They were very pleasant to work with and I would do it again in a heartbeat. He was open to adding things onto the project as well (hanging new doors, laying new laminate in another room etc). If I had an issue or suggestion, he would listen and address it. I think the price given was very fair and as you can see with the attached photos, they did a great job. My wife and I are very happy with the end result.

For our recent renovations, Fabiano did an excellent job. His quality of works are met with high expectations and we are very pleased with the outcome. We would highly recommend FV Renovations.

After 44 years I definitely needed a change especially a walk-in shower.
