I had taken a quote and paid advance in mid Sept 2018 to have a cracked window replaced and installed. 2 people on 2 different occasions came from windowmart to take measurements for the new window. I was told the window was custom made and so would take upto 12 weeks to have it delivered. Since I didn’t hear anything by Dec 2018, I called back in Dec to find out that they had screwed up and hadn’t booked me in. So then they book me in Jan 2019. When the men come to remove my cracked window, they remove it and as they try to install the new window, they figure out that the window they have does not fit. They tell me that whoever measured the window didn’t take the correct measurements. They put my cracked window back in, and in the process completely break my cracked window from 1 end to the other. They told me that I would get a call from their office in Edmonton. I call the Edmonton office and leave a complaint. One day later and still no response or call from Edmonton office. Disgusted I call the office to talk to the manager Slava Kravchenko – who does not have regular work hours, so is not in the office and is too busy to attend the calls of customers who have already paid to have a window replaced 5 months ago. The lady who took my call Vanessa couldn’t give me clear information as to when somebody would come to measure my window again (if that) or by when I would have the correct window installed, or whether I would get my money back or even a discount (for the inconvenience of having 2 babies in the house in Edmonton’s winter with a now completely cracked window, when I had paid and ordered 5 months ago). Now we can’t even sit beside the window as it is too cold, even with temporary bandaid fixes and window blinds. Every department sucks in this company, with people just passing the bucket around.
