Words cannot express how happy we were with the work done by Highbury Stone & Repair, specifically the hard work and dedication shown by Ryan. He went over and beyond what was expected of him. His work was meticulous. This was the most we had ever spent on a home renovation project and I can tell you that Ryan quickly put aside any worries we may have had about the project going bad. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing someone so passionate and dedicated to his work. He came to work early each day and put in some long days to give our house a classic look with a little flare of Europe (quite fitting for an area where families of mostly European descent live). For this Ryan we thank you!

A very big thanks also to Dave for his patience in answering all our many questions regarding flagstone. Goes to show that you will always be in good hands with an Arsenal supporter! ;)

I found Highbury Stone very professional in the way they approach this project. The guys that carried out the work were very helpful and had lots of good ideas.

Dave was very quick in responding to my request for a quote and knew what needed to be done to restore the sidewalk to it's former glory. I was impressed that he recommended removing all the old grout to ensure a consistent look. Within a couple days of confirming I'd like to go ahead with the job Dave phone to say he could start the next day.

Dave and the crew showed up at 8 AM the next morning and the guys went to work. They were very meticulous in removing the mortar, removing and resetting the stones that had heaved and replacing the mortar. The crew did all this and left the front yard in pristine condition.

I was very impressed with the prompt response, the excellent quality of the job and the exceptional cleanup. I would definitely use them again!

We had just purchased this house in old Oakville and needed fairly prompt attention to our front door steps and sill as they were damaged and cracked old flagstone and were noticeable being at the main entrance. We approached 3 companies and settled on Highbury Stone. Dave contacted us at each point as to time of meeting and his team completed the job in a very timely way. They reused some of the old flagstone to ensure it appeared consistent with the central walkway (not being replaced) and bordered each step to add a contemporary feel. Dave and his team did an excellent job repairing our flagstone walkway. The mortar between the joints was cracking and falling out. The new mortar looks fresh and has stabilized our walkway. The job was done in less than a day just as promised. We’re very happy with the work and would definitely use Highbury Stone again!

Dave provided professional advice throughout the project. Ryan and Mat worked with great precision and craftmanship when laying the stone. All the stone facings around the edged were hand chiselled to create a natural finish. The jointing between the stones were brushed to create clean lines.
