Oneway Structural & Construction

THEY TOOK THE $ AND RAN. We unfortunately hired Oneway to renovate our downstairs bathroom and paid a 1/3 deposit in May 2019. Oneway gave us a start date of November 2019, then pushed it to January 2020, then February 21, 2020. They came in for a brief period and tore out our old bathroom, then left in March 2020 with the COVID shutdown. Since then they have made no attempt to reschedule or give us any idea of if, when or how this work will be completed. When the government determined work such as this job could continue, we even offered to leave the house for two weeks for their staff to work alone our home. To all our emails and offers of compromise, they offer scheduling excuses and refuse to confirm if they are working on other projects. All they have said is they are having trouble getting workers during COVID. We have paid them just under $20,000 to date. We have asked them if they would like to close out the job and return the money we paid for work not completed since they are unable to manage scheduling, with no response. In fact they have stopped responding to our messages (phone, email or text), and have gone so far as to block my wife's phone number. December 2020- still no word after letters emailed and sent.

I sincerely recommend ONEWay construction. After having bad experiences with other construction companies I was very hesitant on any other construction company. ONEWay proved to me that there's bad ones, but also there's good ones. I am beyond satisfied with their customer service and workmanship. I have no experience in construction but they kept me in the loop and informed before, during and after.
My house was always left very clean as if there was no construction going on. My family and I didn't feel any interruption during the process and our daily routine was as usual.
We thank you so much for all the amazing work and experience.

When we first met, One-way was working for friends who started doing a small project and ended up nearly re-building their house. They were delighted with the work they had done for them. We kept an eye on the progress of the job and rejoiced with them when it was done. They had nothing but praise for this company. We booked our kitchen reno two years in advance just to get onto their calendar. We started with a small project to see how the crew worked and to get a feel for the process of renovating. There were a number of problems Delays resulted from a measuring error by a supplier, unsatisfactory work by a sub-trade (hired by me) that had to be ripped out and replaced. What convinced us to continue with One-way was that each problem was dealt with promptly and politely, both with us and with the trades that caused the problems. We are happy with a whole new main level to upper level flight of stairs and an unusual storage solution. We went straight from that into the big project of the kitchen.
* The One-way Team always presented with professionalism and individual self pride. Language, dress, personal vices, etc were never an issue!
*Job site and our whole home was always left impeccable and safe.
* Quality and workmanship were excellent, and if an issue did arise, they recognized and dealt with it fairly and quickly.
* Our final product still gives us goose bumps! We absolutely love our home and the way it has turned out. Thanks everyone for the incredible work.

One Way Construction Inc did a fantastic job completing some renovations in  our home and garage. The whole crew was very friendly, professional and a true pleasure to work with. From the very beginning One Way was the only company to give us a detailed estimate. Throughout the project, they kept us updated and always welcomed any questions we had. We just had main floor and kitchen renovation including wall removal done by Oneway Construction Inc. Wesley and the rest of the team made the whole process smooth, easy and much less stressful than we thought it would ever be. They came up with great design ideas and listened carefully to what we wanted. Their workers were SO clean, every night when we came home we were able to just relax. With their meticulous attention to detail, we now have an absolutely stunning kitchen. We thank them for adding value to our home. Everyone who visits us is wowed by our new kitchen. We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation and will have them back to do more work for us in the future.

My husband and I first learned about one during a conversation with a colleague in regards a project in had in mind. We were pleased with all the pleasant things we heard about this company and decided to give them a call. They quickly accommodate us for a meeting to discuss our ideas. We had done renovations in our home before but the experience is nothing to compare . From initial interaction to months after the project has been completed we couldn’t be happier with the service one way has provided us. My family spends most of our time in our new addition and can’t thank Wesley and the team enough for the incredible work they have done. We were fortunate to have found a company like Oneway construction for our remodeling project. They have been head and shoulders above any other contractors we've worked with. All of the folks genuinely take pride in the work they do. The guys have been amazingly patient and listened to all of our concerns. All of our concerns and questions were quickly and fairly addressed. I am consistently impressed with the attention to detail Wesley and his crew give to everything they do. They make sure that everything they touch is done right, is solid as a rock, and looks good in the end. They listen to what you want but make adjustments based on their deep experience, knowing what produces the best result. They were able to anticipate my needs and adjust based on the age of the house, making sure that things were done right and up to code. Overall, not only are they accommodating but they stand by the work they do. Wesley also took every opportunity to let us know where we could save money or if something seemed unnecessary and even when our requests defied logic they were more than happy to take care of us.
