Strongarm Drywall

Fantastic from start to finish. I had a weird schedule and they were more then accommodating to work around the days and times that I could make work. In regards to the quote, it was quick and accurate and very reasonable. Even though my job took far longer them expected the final amount was exactly as quoted.

I personally wouldn't hesitate to call them back this summer for a few other small projects that will be happening.

I called Strongarm while in mid project hoping to find someone who could start drywalling ASAP. Darrian and Cheyanne arrived at the site three hours later in the evening to gather information for an estimate. They provided the estimate by early the next morning. The price was very fair and reasonable for the market.

Cheyanne provided timely updates on progress during the entire course of the project, which was completed on time and budget, and the quality of the work was excellent! I highly recommend this company.

Darrian came out to my place the same day I got in touch with him. He and Cheyanne supplied a quote that night and didn't try to upsell anything. When one of his guys left and couldn't get the job done; Darrian and Cheyanne stepped up to do the job themselves and still finished on time. I absolutely loved the communication as Darrian returned all my phone calls/text messages. Their commitment to get the job done was amazing. The job itself was done right, priced competitively and had no complaints from the rest of my contractors. Highly recommend to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat. Darrian might be young but he's got the perfect attitude and character to be in the drywall business.

We were in the beginning stages of a major kitchen reno and needed to get some drywall work done before the other contractors were scheduled. Due to bad planning on my part I needed the work done fast. I sent a message to Strongarm Drywall on a Saturday, not expecting to get a reply until Monday. Not only did Darrian reply, but was able to come over and take a look at the scope of the work that day. Since the work required was not a big job they were able to start the work on Monday. Darrian, Cheyanne and the team were quick, efficient and always on time. The work was done to perfection on the schedule that I needed. They were in constant communication with me and I was never wondering what the next steps would be. The price was also competitive. Highly recommended and will use them again if the need ever comes up in the future.

After receiving many quotes from other drywall companies in Calgary, I decided to hire Strongarm to complete the drywall in my 660 square foot detached garage.

My project requirements were to complete boarding, mud & tape, and sanding to a Level 5 finish. I wanted the garage to be finished like an indoor living space, as this will be my workshop / man-cave.

Strongarm showed up within a few hours of my initial email and provided a quote via email by that evening. The pricing was comparable to other drywall companies in town, but the difference is in the customer service. Most notably, Strongarm advised me of a pending drywall price increase and was able to accelerate my material delivery which saved me a significant amount of money.

Darrian and Cheyanne are quite young, but they have tremendous experience in the drywall trade. Their communication is top-notch amongst residential contractors in Calgary. They provided me with daily project updates and schedules for the next day, which helped me plan with my other trades. All of my questions were answered promptly and professionally. Strongarm even recommended an outstanding painter who I later hired to add some color.

The finished product is actually quite amazing. The level of drywall finishing is well beyond that of a normal garage, especially the flat painted ceiling. Strongarm truly listened to my requirements and turned my vision into reality.

Prompt response to request for quote - they came to our house in the evening, reviewed the job, talked about alternatives, and got us a quote the same night

Job setup - materials were delivered the day before job started so that the laborers could get started promptly the next morning

Job execution - work was completed on time to expectations. The only concern was mid-job cleanliness. We gave feedback regarding mud and dust, and it was cleaned up to expectations at the end of job.

Communication - status updates came in via email promptly same day. Questions were responded to promptly.

What can they do better next time - bring your own box fans to expedite drying.

Excellent service. They arrived when then said they would, expert advice and great craftsmanship. They were strait up on what needed to be done and honest all the way through. Their price is competitive and to be honest it was great to have them working in my house. The crew was motivated and weren't satisfied until we were.
