d exceeded all of our expectations - he was friendly, punctual, and flexible to what we needed to get done. We called Ed to check on some damage that was recently done by a neighbor getting their roof upgraded. Ed not only determined that the damage was superficial, he was able to check on other non-HVAC related items while he was on the roof. Before he left, he checked the status of our A/C filter and gave us a small tutorial on how to maintain our external unit. Most of all, he provided some tips on how to save a bit of money in doing some of the basic and routine maintenance items on our A/C unit. My husband and I were so pleased with Ed's service for our furnace maintenance and Nest thermostat consultation that we wanted him to check our central air conditioner when we suspected that a leak was the reason for our sudden loss of cool air.

Our AC was not able to start (a very first time start of this year) yesterday and the half year old Nest Thermostat shows an E103 error. Contacted nest support and ask me to check with local nest pro. I called ED and he response back very quickly and we make an appt the next day at 9pm EST.
ED came to my house right on schedule. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. Ed started with diagnosing the E103 error and then located a broken contactor from outside. After replace a new contactor with a reasonable price, my A/C is now functioning perfectly. Great and Highly Recommended Service !

Ed was professional, prompt and really took the time to explain the problem with our furnace. We had recently installed a Nest thermostat and he was well versed in the technology. His prices were reasonable, he fit us in for a same-day appointment and was generally a pleasure to work with. Would definitely call him again for any future HVAC issues.

I had bought a new NEST thermostat and it was giving me loads of problems. I lost heating at around 10pm because of the NEST thermostat and the house was getting pretty cold. When I called Forge Mechanical, Ed rushed over as soon as he could to help. He was fast, clean, courteous and very knowledgeable. He explained what I needed and answered any questions I had very patiently, even though I may have asked some dumb questions. Ed also contacted me the next day to find out if everything was ok. I should add that I called another HVAC company before Ed, earlier that day. The other company charged me $100+ and didnt fix the issue. Call Ed at Forge Mechanical and save yourself the hassel

Ed responded super quickly to our call and came came that night to get our Nest up and running. The wiring set-up for our old thermostat didn't work and he quickly had it working. Will use again.
