Like so many people we lost a lot of shingles in the Spring windstorms earlier this year. Manny was one of the only roofers who made himself available to come out quickly and do a temporary weatherproofing job at a reasonable price. In terms of the re-shingling job that Manny and his crew completed for us, we are very happy. Manny explained the difference between a good roofing job and a shoddy one and why our previous shingles peeled off so easily in a strong wind. In our opinion, Manny is a guy who really cares about the quality of his work. He goes the extra mile and does not want to disappoint a single customer. His entire crew was courteous and professional and completed our job in a timely manner. We our confident that we now have a roof that will stand the test of time. We had a leak in a bedroom ceiling and were told to call a roofer for the repair of a leaking roof vent.I found Manny on Homestars. He is fantastic!!! Manny came, diagnosed the problem and fixed it by climbing up on our steep roof and calking around the base of the vent. Not only that, but he calked the other vents on the roof as a preventive measure. I will definitely use Manny at Straightace for all of my future roofing needs and recommend him highly!!

We recently had our roof reshingled by Straight Ace Roofing
Sections of the roof had lifted and needed replacing due to a major wind storm we had experienced in the Spring
Manny was very helpful in recommending the proper shingles
We wanted something different but also ones that would withstand nasty weather
We chose the Manoir shingles which at first was difficult to visualize as our home is an older home but we are very pleased with our selection
We also had to replace all the plywood as it was waterlogged and needed replacing
Our chimney flashing was installed incorrectly by someone else
Manny reinstalled new flashing which really made a visual difference
The guys worked very hard in the heat for 2 days and kept everything clean
Didn’t have to clean up after them when we came home from work

Manny and his crew were polite, efficient and very professional.
They did an excellent job stripping and replacing our shingles, flashing and vents. Truly a professional job at a reasonable price (thousands cheaper than the big companies).

Manny and his crew replaced our roof and skylight. We are very happy with his work. With the replacement of our inefficient skylight we immediately experienced a significant improvement in the air conditioning comfort on our 3rd floor.
