Popcorn Ceiling Removal

This was my first time ever getting popcorn ceilings removed and I was nervous. I needed my whole living room & master bedroom stucco removed plus painting all walls and trim. It was a big investment but Tyler and his team were great and my job turned out better than I expected!
Tyler responded to all my emails quickly and it was easy to set up on appointment for an estimate. He thoroughly explained the process and how he measured the sq footage of my job, how much it would cost and what paint he recommended. He even went to pick up the paint so I wouldn't have to transport 6 gallons by myself! A++ customer service.
His price was competitive and the results are totally worth it. I'm very happy I chose Stucco Dr and will use them again in the future! Thank you for transforming my new house into a home!

It was great working with Tyler and his crew. Everyone was so professional and friendly. The final product was amazing and everything was left very clean I look forward to working with these folks on our next project.

I hired Tyler based on his reviews on Homestars but I didn't have the same positive experience as others on this site. Tyler is a very nice person and really does try to please unfortunately his crew are amateurs. To be fair, most of my ceilings could not be removed so they had to plaster over. A tough job at best however there are numerous areas that weren't sanded very well. One area in a small hallway looks like it wasn't sanded at all. I'll end up having to hire someone else to re-sand these areas. The painters are not professionals. They got paint on some baseboard trim and didn't touch it up. The cutting in between the walls and the ceiling was sloppy. They painted around switch plates instead of removing them. I missed removing a screw and couple of plugs from the wall and they just paint over them instead of removing and plastering properly. They didn't properly sand holes that were plastered so you can see those areas under the paint. Tyler's price was much lower than others and it shows in the workmanship. He has plenty of goods reviews on this site and mine is only 1 negative review so I really don't know what to say about that. I wish that it worked out better as I would have liked to have all the other ceilings in my house done by Tyler.

We hired Tyler to remove stucco and finish the ceilings at our new house. He also helped to reinstall a light fixture at the top of our staircase, which would have been very difficult for us to reach ourselves. Our ceiling looks great, and we're happy with the quality of Tyler's work. They also did a great job keeping everything clean.

Our only complaint is with the timeline of the project. Tyler estimated five days for the job, but it stretched to more like 10. I think he has booked too many jobs so he wasn't able to show up at our house every day. After he finished, there were a couple of spots that needed patching up, which is fine, but we had to keep calling him for a few days before he came.

Tyler and his crew were so professional and prompt. Not only was their work on the ceilings absolutely perfect, they took great care to keep the mess down and protect our floors and furniture. Very respectful of our home. So pleased with the result. Great value add to our renovation.

Tyler has done an exceptional job in removing stucco from our living room ceiling. We had installed potlights ourselves so there was a very large patch of drywall removed which he repaired, sanded, and painted to perfection! Professional work all done within quoted time frame!

I can't speak highly enough of Tyler and his team. Moving is stressful, Popcorn ceiling removal and Painting your apartment is stressful. Too many parties out of your control (building managers, previous home owners, real estate agent, freight elevator usage hours, etc)... These guys roll with all the punches and deliver a fantastic job.

Our closing date had been messed up royally and basically our project was delayed by a month. Tyler handled this whole situation with such grace, ease and calmed ME down, rather than me having to manage them. In the end, they didn't charge a dime extra than the original quote, even though our closing mixup had cost them many unnecessary additional hours. Moreover, with the delay they still managed to get it all done in time for us to move in on schedule.

Allowing people into your home for days really needs the right level of service.. after screening many, many other companies for quotes and for service level..I can honestly say these guys are the best.

Right price, professional work, always on time and communicative. Also willing to do touchups months later just to make sure the customer is happy! This level of service is unparalleled these days.

We just recently had Tyler and his crew of experts remove all popcorn ceilings throughout our new condo in Toronto. This is a brand new building just built 4 months ago and for some reason the builder still thinks popcorn ceilings are still in style. Lucky for us we were able to find the Stucco Dr's, Tyler worked with my crazy schedule to arrange a time to estimate the project, he gave me a great price on the job compared to competing companies.
