I called Locksmith On the Way at 6pm on a Saturday when our lock broke as I was leaving for the day. They informed me that they would be on -site in 20 minutes. After about 40 minutes, the technician called to say he would be another hour. When he finally arrived, he assessed the work that needed to be completed and said it would be a couple hundred dollars as one part was fairly expensive. Once the work was completed, the bill was written up for $1000 which included a $648 charge for the part that was discussed as well as $99 for a thumb-turn part. The technician said if we didn't pay right away with credit card that he would remove the work and leave me without a lock. Since it was 9pm by now, the owner of our company agreed to pay for the work so I could get home. Over the next couple of days I called several lock companies and found out that the $648 part is in fact $75 on the low end and $200 on the high end for the exact same brand and everything. The $99 thumb turn is at least double what other companies charge. I have been trying to get in touch with a manager or owner for more than 2 weeks to discuss and nobody will get back to me to discuss the situation

Terrible service. Sketchy, they asked for my VISA a few times, I don't trust them. They never returned my call. Had to give me a refund and they never did.

In the process of taking over a business, we ran into some issues with a previous vendor and needed to go through a complete lock change. Locksmith on the way was easy to get in touch with and the service was delivered on time and priced as estimated.

We have used this company twice, each with great success. The first time we used them was after moving to change the locks on three exterior doors (front, side, and garage). Since they were so professional and reasonably priced, we utilized their services a few years later. Each of our bedroom doors have locks, but the previous homeowners did not leave us keys. One of the doors jammed with a child in the room, and we were unable to remove the knob ourselves to open the door. The locksmith was QUICK and was able to get the job done in no time. I'd recommend them to anyone!

I was trying to replace the front door deadbolt with one that had an electronic touch pad. unfortunately the hole was not wide enough and the drill bit i bought did not go through metal doors, just wood. the costs involved in getting the proper tools were ridiculous and I'd already slept without a front lock for 1 night!

I called them, they arrived within 2 hours, 2 young men who had all the proper tools. they drilled the hole in the door and that was all I was going to pay for, but they also installed the lock for me and made sure it worked and programmed it.
All in all, it was worth the money to know that I and my child were secure in the house!
