Msj Moving And Auto Transport

We made the mistake of hiring MSJ Movers. Clearly their good reviews are made up by employees. We were moving from a 3 bedroom home. Two guys and one young kid (who they hired that day from Kijiji with no experience) showed up 2 hours late, in a small truck. It took EIGHT HOURS to load the truck and it was so poorly loaded that only 3/4 of our belongings fit. The truck had to be unloaded then reloaded properly to fit everything!! My husband was so frustrated by the end that he ended up doing half of the moving! We arrived to our new home at 9pm - complete darkness and raining. We asked if the movers could leave the truck and come back the next morning to unload - they said no. Finally at 4 AM - yes 4 AM!! - they finished unloading. Needless to say, there were several pieces of furniture that were broken, and the new house was full of mud (They did not take off their shoes).
We spoke to the owner of the company on the phone at 3:30 AM and he was non negotiable with the bill, and tried to charge us by the hour!!?? He did not offer to insure the broken items. He was rude and unprofessional.
I would NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone, and will tell everyone I know about this experience. WORST MOVE EVER.

Hello, the movers who came were exceptionally professional and courteous. The two team members - Alex and the 2nd individual took care of our items (dropped and place them gently, used blankets when required, and used belts when items were in the truck to secure them. They even asked where we wanted each items to be placed and took off their shoes when entering and leaving the house.

MSJ is highly suggested to everyone - fair prices and unbeatable service. I'm telling all my friends/family about the company.

My movers were scheduled to show up between 9 and 10, as I was on a time constraint with the elevator at my new place, I had it until noon.

1 person showed up alone at 10:30. My boyfriend helped him until a second mover arrived at 11:30. Only about 1/4 of what I'd planned to move was able to make it onto the truck due to us running out of time. We are now renting a truck to move the rest ourselves. I was still charged full price.

That said, it is no fault of the mover that arrived, he was very nice, knowledgeable, great at manoeuvring the truck. I also received a call from the company apologizing.

the two guys came for moving were great. i forgot their name, one white and one chinese background. very supportive and they did their work very well. highly recommended. Their price is very reasonable.

Great service and cheap rates.. After reading all the reviews MSJ was my top choice.. Crew was proffessional, careful and fast..

Received my car within 4 days. Excellent customer service by Daniele. Just had to wait an hour when went to pick my car. Good experience overall. Thank you Danielle.
