Buildstrong Masonry

I had a small brick grouting job. But to let some recently replaced bricks settle, we agreed to wait a period of time. Buildstrong GOT BACK TO ME to schedule the work. They are so organized. I'm so impressed. Oh, and they did a great job. Thank you Buildstrong.

This is the fourth time Ive engaged Build Strong for work. In addition to rebuilding external brick work and replacing a glass block, this time was restoring the rubble foundation in one of the walls our 1920s house.
Renés quote was fair and the work was completed within the time hed indicated. The service was professional, competent and Jason answered all our questions about the work. He had suggestions about finishing the work that demonstrated not just his technical expertise but his understanding of the aesthetic look we wanted from the exposed stone. A delight to work with. Id have no hesitation about working with Build Strong again and am happy to recommend them.

We recently worked with Buildstrong Masonry to replace many crumbling bricks and the cracked limestone window sills on our 100 year old home. We found the quote to be incredibly fair, and the workmanship to be excellent. René was very patient in answering my many questions and JL led the work nicely on site. Highly recommend and would / will use Buildstrong again.

It was a pleasure dealing with this company. They were responsive and reliable and inspired confidence in their work. They removed a lot of the old material and replaced it with new, correct mortar when reinstalling loose stones on the front steps and porch. Jean Luc and Mohammed were very polite and pleasant while doing the work.
They also inspected my chimney and replaced mortar where necessary.
I intend using them in the future should I need to have masonry work done.

Jason did excellent work, re-setting a couple or so bricks and replacing the mortar between other bricks on the lower part of a pillar beside our veranda. He also cleaned up thoroughly, both on the pillar itself and the ground surrounding it. I was especially impressed that he wore professional safety gear when using an angle grindera ventilator with the proper filter and ear muffs to protect his hearing.

This is my second interaction with Rene and I am very impressed by him. He took the time to give me advice even when it is not related to a job. I am confident that he will not disappoint his clients by his willingness to understand and accommodate their needs.

We have experienced an excellent service from Rene's team. The first time I contracted Buildstrong Masonry was in 2019 where the front stone arch at the porch was loose. From then on, we have been contracting his team until now. Rene was very thorough on his estimate and the price was definitely reasonable for the scope of work. His team did work around the house such as parging, repair window sill and any cracks, hole, broken or missing joints on stone or brick. The work to maintain and repair the cement, brick and stone work on an older house is not simple. Keeping the look and quality and even returning the finish and structure to original or correcting it shows true mastery of the trade. We are really happy with Rene and his team's work. They finished their work to perfection.

We see Rene more than a vendor because of the trust and respect we have with his work for the past 4 years.

I spoke with 3 different people from Build Strong Masonry. They are organized, professional, and on time. I made a small electronic deposit (mid-June) which put me on the waiting list and work started in a reasonable time (early August). Nice process.

Our guy was great. He showed up on time, was a really hard worker, tidy, very polite and cheerful. He showed me his progress and called attention to when an area looked tricky. The wall is much improved, the bricks a good match, and the quote accurate.

They did amazing work on replacing my damaged brick that was spalling and generally not nice to look at. While there were some delays relating to weather conditions and air quality, once Renes team started the work, they did an amazing job. They even came back to address some concerns we had been having and quickly resolved the issue. Buildstrong offers quality masonry work and good customer service. Ill definitely be using their services for upcoming projects and repair!
