I found my popcorn ceiling very outdated and wanted to smooth it for long time now. I guess it was a trend a couple of decades ago. Sent messages to a few contractors. Royal drywall guys reached me first and arranged an appointment even though it was Sunday (I work long hours so it was my only option). They also recommended not to put up drywall on top of the existing ceiling, but rather smooth it to save a little space in my condo. After talking to 3 other contractors I called Royal Drywall and asked them to start. The job was pretty messy, but they managed to cover all the furniture to keep it clean. Unfortunately I couldnt remove everything from my place. I am 100% satisfied with the result, didn't know it was actually possible. Outstanding job!

We wanted to change the layout of our rooms and replace the old plaster walls with drywall in a few places around the house. Also the stucco ceiling had to be replaced with neat and smooth drywall. Royal drywall team did fantastic job on all 3 floors. Since we had to stay in the house for the major part of the renovation, they isolated the working area to prevent dust from spreading. It took them about 3 weeks to replace drywall, repair, straighten and build new framing, where it was needed. PArts of the ceiling were just smoothed up without the drywall replacement (that saved us some money on extra materials). They also added an extra layer of insulation in the bathroom wall for extra sound insulation. Very professional and reliable team. We plan to hire them for our basement in the future.

Found Royal Drywall company here on Homestars. Called them, left a voicemail and almost immediately received a phone call from Phillip. We scheduled appointment to see my basement where I needed framing, insulation, drywall and taping done. I really appreciated all the inputs and recommendations I got, somethings I never thought about, like lights and electric wires. These suggestions definitely saved me a lot of time and money. It took them one day to send a quote which was very competitive. I liked how meticulous their attitude to the job was. There was no surprises, the work place was always clean and neat. It took a couple of days longer to tape than planned, but only due to my humid basement where mud wasn't drying that fast. Excellent job over all. Reliable team. Thank you!

I decided to finally renovate the basement and make it suitable for living. I do a lot of construction myself, but drywall is a heavy job and taping requires a lot of skills to be done properly. I called Royal Drywall, Raul came and assessed my framing, pointed out a few missing frames that needed to be finished before the drywall. The guys quickly hung drywall within one day. Taping took 4 days, time required for the mud to dry. After the priming was done Raul came to do some final touch up and sand some dents left by floor guys. Good job!

I bought a nice huge TV and then realized I had 2 problems. I needed to reinforce the wall to hang my TV, and the sound insulation was terrible, I could hear everything what is happening in the living room, while being in my bedroom. I called Royal Drywall to come and find a solution for me. Raul suggested to take the wall apart, add extra framing to support the TV and fill in the insulation material to make it soundproof. It took one day for the team to finish the main job and then they needed to return a couple of time to finish the mudding and sanding, and painting. My concern was how in my small apartment they would keep it clean, but no dust or other garbage was left behind. Very clean and professional job.

I recently bought an old house and completed the renovation by myself. However for some areas I needed a professional help. Ceilings in 2 rooms required replacement, so I needed new drywall installed there. Also I had several holes and dents in walls all over the place, they also needed to be fixed. Raul was managing the project and went beyond my expectations. Was very easy to reach to and communicated every step of the project, where there were a lot of unexpected issues (you never know what to expect from an old house). I also got quotes from other 2 companies but Royal Drywall had the best combination of price and professionalism, also they could start the project within a week. It took one day to frame, another day to install drywall, and 3 days for the taper to mud and sand. Raul also came one time for touch ups after priming. Amazing team. Thank you!
