Our cleaning service re-verses the grout aging process, can be a little pricey, and looks amazing when completed. Stained, cracked, or mismatched colors require color uniformity, and grout needs repair before it can be transformed to "like new". Each technician requires experience with many cleaning products, grout repair techniques, and other important factors. Two people working continuously for 3 hours is actually 6 hours, scrubbing, repairing, and sealing each grout line, unlike a carpet cleaner or a furnace cleaner, they have a truck mount.

The last time we met was August 18, we cleaned your ceramic floor, sealed your light coloured grout and you purchased a bottle of our maintenance cleaner.

This visit, we repaired tiny potholes. associated with long nails from a larger dog. If these pin holes become deeper and wider the grout becomes unstable and crumbles, we prefer to get these types of pin holes quickly.

The homeowners did a great job maintaining their floors since 2017, with only a slight visual pathway beginning to appear. This type of maintenance would be difficult to accomplish without our special sealer. Carpet care, you can delay for a few years, but dirt on grout is visible and Great Grout requires maintenance.

After our initial treatment, we recommend an annual cleaning schedule. Grout requires time every week for cleaning. After work, there’s groceries, dinner, and dishes, your day is just starting when you get at home. We just shortened your to-do list.

Also they are a second time customer which means he decided to save his floor twice from the landfill.

Both time and cleaning are very important, but sometimes it's hard to fit time for a weekly deep clean required by a tile floor.

Thank you for your wonderful review, we appreciate you taking the time to write it. We listen to our client's tile and grout cleaning stories, they explain how difficult it is for so many to get down and clean grout, or that they have tried and the grout is beyond cleaning. Staining does alter the site of grout forever.

Deep cleaning is different than surface cleaning. Surface cleaning is completed with a damp mop which is great for the tile's surface, but what about the recessed grout? Your fireplace transformed from grey to a bright creamy colour. When we clean floors, stone, showers, and fireplaces, we never know how things will turn out, so we are as amazed as you. We love this industry, our customers are very special and they appreciate this service being available in Edmonton.

15 years and still cleaning, tile, stone and grout, that's around 5000 floors, I think that's a pretty close number.

Food for thought.

A 1500 square foot home usually has 600 square feet of tile and grout. So when you replace a floor you will require about 750 square feet for bathrooms, wastage and spares. That's about 75 boxes of ceramic or porcelain tile, stone would be much heavier. Let's say each box weighs 35 pounds.

Here comes the calculator, 75 boxes of tile to replace a ceramic floor at 35 pounds per box equals 2,625, a ton is 2000 pounds. So when a ton of ceramic or porcelain tile floor is removed it goes to the Claystone Waste's Beaver Regional Landfill, a class II landfill just north of the village of Ryley. What happens to all that renovation waste? Why did the floor require removal? Was it the nasty grout? That's a shame.

I thought about the many floors I have cleaned over the 15 years and realized My Clean Grout has saved over 10 million tons of waste from landfills. When we treat a floor we save renovation waste from the landfills every day. Some floors are small some are large. The average could still be around 750 square feet.

We seldom review past projects, but when we do, we are very surprised how our sealer holds up. A white back splash in a busy kitchen takes all kinds of abuse. White grout can either begin to turn yellow or a light grey overtime except when we apply our special sealer. Our sealer keeps white grout "white".

Even after 2 years the white grout is still white and proves our sealer is very special on a wall or floor. There is a solution to nasty grout, and it begins with My Clean Grout.
