Eco Comfort Insulation & Contracting

Came in on short notice for a job that another, larger company let me down on. They removed the old insul and returned several weeks later to install R50 cellulose...installation was flawless....you could (almost) play billiards on the insulation it was so level! Will definitely be my go-to insul company from this point on!

I contacted EcoComfort after reading the good reviews on HomeStars, as well as one other company for comparison. The other company's rep failed to show on the appointed day so I ended up getting a quote from them over the phone. EcoComfort's price was a bit better and based on the stellar reviews, decided to have them top up our attic insulation. The three guys that came were on time and very courteous. After they left, you wouldn't even have known they had been in the house. Great cleanup and efficient work.

I am happy with the quote which was very competitive and fair, when compared with 2 other quotes. The job was completed professionally and Tom was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. They also did their best to keep all areas clean as possible. I am quite satisfied with the job.

Excellent service. I had EcoComfort to do the attic insulation. They were referred by my neighbour who said they did a very good job. They were quick to give me a quote and explain what needed to be done. After the installation, they asked me to inspect their work to make sure I am satisfied and cleaned up after. We can feel a big difference before and after insulation. I highly recommend this company.

After reading reviews on homstars I've invited a few companies to give me a quote. EcoComfort was more on the high side of the price range but Wojtek was able to explain to me their work in more details that convinced me to hire them. The crew of 3 people arrive on time. Did excellent job and cleaned after them self. Thank you guys. I am really happy with your work.

Ecocomfort installed new insulation in my attic in October 2017; from the quotation process through invoicing they were nothing less than punctual, professional, and friendly. The work was completely efficiently and the space tidied very well; the crew kept me up to date on every stage of the process, and even let me have a look in the attic myself to ensure all was as I desired. I would use Ecocomfort again and highly recommend them.

I had picked four companies to quote on my attic top up to R60.

One company forgot the appointment and was a no show.

Another quoted on the phone and told me a minimum cost to do the job site unseen.

The third was on the high side of my three quotes.

EcoComfort’s crew was efficient and courteous.

Great Service. I hired them second time to do the new addition roof attic insulation and these guys did an amazing job. Great company to work with and i will recommend this company for any roof attic insulation work 100%.

Had 3 estimates for attic insulation removal/install and Eco Comfort was almost 1/2 the cost of the other companies. What was even more surprising was that Eco Comforts estimate included more/extra work that would have made the other 2 estimates even more expensive. I was wondering this was too good to be true so I checked their homestars reviews. After seeing so many positive reviews I was sold. And booked Eco Comfort for the job.
On removal day the workers called 10 mins before they were supposed to show up to let us know they were 10 mins away. They got to work quickly removing the old insulation. When they were done I went up to insp since we were replacing the insulation due to mice, and wanted to see if there was any chewed wiring or drywall. They had installed all the baffles on each truss opening and the old insulation was completely gone.
On install day they arrived on time again, told us they would hook up new vent hoses for the bathroom fans and connect to previously installed roof vents. They also added batt insulation at the base of the baffles so the blow in wouldn’t fall into the soffit area. They suggested we install a roof vent and new hose for our kitchen fan, which we did. They built a barrier around both attic hatches so the blow in wouldn’t fall down when opened and put seals and batt insulation on the hatch covers as well.
When they were done and handed over the bill I was expecting extra costs for the extra work but there wasn’t any! If you didn’t see the trucks at the house you wouldn’t have known any work was done cause of how clean they kept the areas. I instantly noticed how much quieter the house was with the new insulation in.
The night before they removed the insulation we left the furnace off as a test. It went down to 9*C outside and the house in the morning was 63*F. After new insulation same test, it went down to 10*C outside but the house in the morning was still 70*F!! That right there showed me that it was worth getting the job done.

Quick to provide a quote, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns, we very flexible in scheduling the work, used great products and were impeccably clean.
